The scorcher, legendary tool, and flawless crystal schematics are acquired by fighting the aether worm boss in the normal map after the storm starts expanding. You need to find a room in the military base with pictures of four locations on the map, these locations are different each match. Go to those locations to activate UAV towers and acquire USB drives. With the USB drives, you need to go to the storm a few minutes before the storm expands and find a spot with two ammo caches close together, this is where the machines you insert the USB drives into will be. Those machines only activate when covered by the storm. Once all the USB drives are in, the worm spawns and you'll have less than 15 minutes to kill him. Once you kill him, a reward rift spawns with a schematic (random for each player), and there will be a portal to exfil.

You went through the portal and did the story mission to begin accessing the Dark Aether, which involves killing a worm boss inside the portal and retrieving a frozen diary. You also need to get toxic pills, a shocking camera, and a burning collar (not their actual names). Then upgrade those three by doing special bounties through teleporters, then bring all 4 golden items in to the vortex and place them on their respective pillars, fight a mega, then get your first key to access the Dark Aether and those schematics. The story worm boss is entirely separate from the worm boss that gives you schematics.

@carsonhunt4642 different schematics. Dog bone, golden armor, and aether blade schematics come from dark aether contracts after you've completed the story mission.

You can pick up plates throughout the dark aether from zombies, instead try to bring a few sentry turrets, a couple of self revives, and some deadbolt pieces as there’s is a deadbolt turret right where the worm spawns
For the dark aether portal, you do not need to kill the abomination to have it unlocked. As long as the items were on the pledetes, you will have the dark aether unlocked

Schematics are only if you use the Elder Sigil for Hardcore Dark Aether. Using the normal sigil and completing contracts only gives you one time use items
For those having trouble with the Abomination from the Aether rift, swim across to the dock and move left to right the whole time so the zombies don’t hit you with flesh and continuously shoot at him. He will not move nor attack you. 👍🏼
Anyway you could do something on the layout of the tier 4 dark aether. Because the tac map is scrambled. Its really hard to navigate in there. Some type of guide showing us where the 2 exfil portals are exactly in relation to zoomed out map and contract locations. I know there is one in basement but would be clutch to know exactly where it is before going in. That type of thing. I haven't been able to find any vids showing the overall layout, best exit strat and whatnot.

I find everything abput the dark ether except the boss to be easy and they drop tons of plates so I just think you should bring self revives. But thats just my opinion
Pretty sure in order to gain the new schematics you have to use the elder sigil to go back into dark ether where zombies are like tier4. Each of Those bunny contracts then will guarantee one of the new schematics. But just going into the dark ether from regular sigil doesn’t guarantee you them. I’ve done dark ether several times and never received a new schematic. Have elder sigils but have not used them yet. Also elder sigil gets placed on the back of the device where regular sigils go on front. That’s what I’ve gathered from other videos as well. Awesome video and awesome advice. @@jammiedonut6934 yup but if you see a huge gathering of players near the end of the game you can join them and anyone that does any damage to the worm will get the completion rewards so you dont have to do it solo
@@jammiedonut6934 the storm and the area you need to be in are pretty close together if no one shows then just grab a car and head to an exfil also the area only activates when it in the storm so if people are not coming also a sign to head out
I think one of the biggest things that is missing from this is the fact that there is a deadbolt turret at the final boss. So turret activations and mods are important also.
Wasn’t there for me. At least not on the road over the beach. Tier 3 dog stayed alive for about half the boss fight and ran interference for me. Finished solo this morning. Legendary Ray pack 3 seems essential.
Yeah I've done this Act 4 fight about 6 times,and half of them didn't have the Deadbolt Turret spawned, so you just need luck for that I guess. Better not rely on the turrets then.
i just came here to say i’ve been playing zombies just about everyday since launch and i just got my final blueprint(ray gun) yesterday… and it wasn’t even my rift someone dropped it for me
How the hell does anyone discover all this? This is insanity. It looks super fun though. I hope my friend and I can eventually do this, we just started doing standard Tier 3 stuff and it's ROUGH.
Update for everyone. The crash issue is caused from interactions that involve the newly added items that unlock the aether portal (Pills, Dog Collar, Camera, Diary) as well as staying in game long enough to spawn the new worm boss. These events have caused a lot of issues on all platforms but is only noticeable to players who eventuate out to higher tiers to complete these tasks. The confirms the theory but multiple streamers that console player are not experiencing crashes at the magnitude of PC players. This is due to the skill gap between those types of systems. Xbox/PS are not moving into tier 3 as much and are not receiving the 71 corrupted files in the download folder. PC player operate at a much higher skill level and most of them have been moving through the end game content sense release. The dark aether has a much more stable area that is almost crash free across the board. These issues are mostly in the standard zombie map instance. For anyone not crashing on console, it’s because you are not interacting with the new content/higher difficulty at all or as much. There will be a fix coming soon as devs are investigating the issues.
But when exfilled you lose the items, How can't we keep them? last time I killed a worm but after I exfilled with Locked Dairy, nothing on my backpack either stash and thanks in advance

Few minutes ago I was playing mwz and I collected all 4 USB that I needed to do the red worm boss and so I went down and quit the game and few hours later came back hop on and went to the tombstone and the 4 USB that I collected were completely gone
So if i have all 4 items i need to open the tier 4 portal if i use them one game and complete it do i just need the key to go back in or do i need to get all 4 things again
No, the orange sigil you see me get from the reward rift after defeating the abom is what you use to enter the T4 portal, you get them from T3 contracts.
There is no point in trying any of this myself because whenever I make progress my game crashes or gives an error and I can't progress. I'm really sad this costed me $70 and I can't even play or progress.
He's totally ignored the fact that doing this DOES NOT grant schematics for anything at all. It does grant Elder Sigels, which are keys to come back to an even harder version of this dark aether, where you must do all 3 contracts again in only 15 minutes to receive all 3 schematics.
Anyone know if you can exfil the sigil from beating the megabomb? My son is staying with his grandmother tonight, and I told him I'd wait for him to go into the dark aether, but i want at least three of my stash spots back for now if possible.
he can eat you when in that bathroom 6 minutes In and found two bits of fales info also a turret mod will be more handy then one of the sets of 3 plates when he spits you out spam deploy parachute and it saves you

Yeah, fairly certain that’s been an issue since launch, super annoying but it goes away when you swap weapons, just got to remember to do that.

At 9:26 you actually don’t need a chunk of meat for the dog collar. Just put a Molotov into the dog house and it will work

You can only get the scematics by going into the portal using an elder sigil, there the zombies will be harder but better rewards
For the hvt you can use vr11 to heal the tank if you shoot it after its pack a punched
MISSION TIP: At 4:03 you guys can stand on top of the table and kill the zombies without receiving any damage and pick up ammo and plates

I've played for 2 hours solo and no harvester orbs have turned gold,im using deadbolt and nothing is happening and i wasted a lot of stuff already

Yes you can, and worst case they drop, rather commonly, from T3 contracts as well.
Both the normal and elder sigil will stay in your backpack after you exfil. So you can stash them for later use.
