The recruiting class is really good on both lines/ as well as DBs (so no complaints)
Hopefully we can get couple of elite receivers in the portal
ND needs to win at least two games in playoffs to earn some respect around the country

Good discussion. For the most part, I don't want Freeman at this point in his career overruling Golden and Denbrock on an ad hoc basis during the game. Sorry, but they have much more experience coaching than he does. What needs to happen is Freeman and his top coaches need to hash out various "what ifs..." in their preparation for the game. I'm sure they do that already, but by doing that extensively beforehand, the discussion can lay the groundwork for key decisions in-game and under game pressure.

Good show guys I feel in a lot of ways that you guys do. I think it’s great we don’t have to play until December 20. So in actuality we have a by now. Plus these other teams have to play another game now which as we know they could lose players from injuries I hope not but that’s reality. I think ND matches up well with all these teams

Game you're referring to was Miami, Oh. I was there. Boo birds aplenty. But the team played awful.

The most successful programs always adjust to opponents game planning. No matter how good of Coordinators Denbrock & Golden may be... if they refuse to adjust schemes and game plans we are going to be predictable to savvy opposition

It was Miami not UL. No boo birds when we beat the Cardinals.

I don’t mind the boos, MF knows the standard wasn’t being met and I’m sure he gets the dissatisfaction, especially considering he only lost to terrible teams sans Clemson. He makes 7+ right now.

that fake punt was a dumb decision
you don't do that from your own 30 yard line
We were lucky that it worked otherwise you are spotting USC 7 points

So you fake punt from their 30?...Just think about it.

@@joeross7753 no genius you fake put from their side of the 50 .. So something like 40 yards.. and given our kicker yes smart ass even from their 30 because our kicker can barely kick an extra point..

@@khalid7915 I think it's just fascinating that he attempted it. So much goes into that. If he doesn't get it and we lose by 7 or less, can you imagine the backlash? But he did go for it. And he trusted his players to make a catch and execute it. What team in the college playoffs will face Notre Dame and not risk sending all 10 guys to block a punt no matter where the football is?
