I personally interpreted the Prizeball Guardian as something similar to an apocalypse bunker. Sort of like a Vault from the Fallout series. It’s a known fact the land of Ooo is in this sort of post-post-post-apocalyptic era once Finn and Jake arrive on the scene, a big catastrophe happened but almost nobody knows what it is and the land is basically healed from it. Yet in Shermy and Beth’s time, something changed, either another apocalypse occurred or some unseen force is causing Ooo to regress to a more traditional post-apocalyptic setting So the Prizeball Guardian might’ve been her way to work around that. With the degrading nature of Ooo’s landscape, the warring Pup Kingdom and likely Ice Thing, she probably thought it was too dangerous of an environment for her Candy Kingdom to live in. So she put all of her people into status in Gumball capsules in the head while she, Marceline, and whoever else she may choose can live in the body where we see more proper home-like environments like a library, maybe the body is like an apartment complex with various buildings on different floors And the reason the Prizeball Guardian is walking is it’s basically searching for a new land to re-establish their kingdom, and may continue walking for eternity until it can find that new settlement to create I don’t have much evidence for it, I just like the idea personally
That's actually a pretty good theory. You could even say the fall of Finn and Jake would have made Princess Bubblegum even more uneasy, with no heroes to protect her or her people
I'm more inclined to think that it was a dire decision after an attack to her kingdom by the Pup kingdom. And she's on the run or imprisoned and Marceline is trying to find her. They really set up everything to have a continuation future series but instead we will have Fionna and Cake, still feels more like a business decision but we still have mysteries on the Fionna and Cake part, so i hope it would be like a miniseries or with satisfying conclusion to then we could have a longer running series of the distant future
If anything I think Bubblegum created it to keep the candy people safe while she was enjoying living with Marceline. Because every time she left them alone, the kingdom spiralled into chaos. Remember when she decided to leave them alone at a slumber party while she and Finn hung out together.
I took it as a candy kingdom “arc” that was meant to protect the candy peeps after an apocalyptic event. Like a vault from fallout that only opens when it’s determined to be safe. Other commenters mentioned the pup kingdom being the the ones that attacked which I thought was cool. As far as chronology goes, i thought the master chief banana guard was around before the prize ball guardian was shattered?
Yeah it's very mysterious. As for the timeline, it doesn't really matter, as far as I'm aware of, just thought that the Banana Guard might have come after the shattering because of extra protection to not have that happen again
While it’s a nice theory I do find it odd that the banana guard would be added so that would mean that even though the candy kingdom has fallen there could be some sorta automatic defense system protocol in place?
I always thought the Graybles future took place after Shermy and Beth's time; the atmosphere looks almost toxic or polluted compared to the somewhat still green landscape of Shermy and Beth's era. Which raises more questions, like why does it look like the planet is dying for real? Did the reintroduction of humans to Ooo cause it? What if they unintentionally brought some unexpected viruses that seriously damaged other lifeforms? Was there a war with the Pup Kingdom? Did another catalyst comet cause damage?
@Paxw another thought I had was, maybe all the magic left Ooo, or maybe the Elementals left. Maybe the Prize Ball Guardian in Graybles was the last one, left behind to gather any stray candy people up (like Starchy, because they don't know he removed his tag) and than migrate to Mars or possibly a Candy Space Station. Because PB went from trying to colonize the deadlands to shooting candy larvae into space, which implies she has an idea that Ooo can't last much longer in the grand scheme of things. And it sounds grim, but I think Neddy must have died at some point too, but maybe that was PB's incentive for closing up shop.
@@CinnamonGrrlErin1 Yeah you're totally right!! I think there's a ton of stuff from this episode and any of the future episodes that can help point us in a certain direction. That's the thing I love about Adventure Time, is that they don't tell you and allow you to come up with all these ideas. But I agree, I think PB probably knew that Ooo was going down a dark path and created something to help her candy citizens last through it. I would love to make a video more in depth about the future and go into all these cool details
It does make more sense to me that graybles is after shermy. Its more logical that the banana Guard died sometime between then and thats why the guardian was alone. The only reason i say this is because if grayble destroyed the guardian there isnt anyone to build a new one.
Maybe the aftermath of humanity was a second calamity. And maybe the gardiuns were made so that the candy citizens would survive until after the world becomes less toxic
I bet that Gibbon probably attacked the candy kingdom (given his mania from the crown's gem.) It also probably explains why he earased the powers of every single pup as well (accept for a few that could be speculated loyalists to Gibbon.) He provably is trying to divide, conquer, and rule over thr pup kingdom with an iron fist. This would also explain why he outcasted Beth the "princess" of the pup kingdom
I always thought of Prize Ball Guardian serving as a literal Guardian that keeps the Candy People in Hibernation and safe from the many Monsters of Ooh after the Candy Kingdom was destroyed in some disaster or war and it was probably meant to be a temporary solution at least until Princess Bubblegum could either rebuild the Candy Kingdom or Ooh became safe enough for them to survive without her the Inside was probably meant to be where she and Marceline lived probably with some Banana Guards and some of the smarter Candy People like Peppermint Butler it's also possible that the Candy Citizens are swapped in and out of Hibernation every couple of days or weeks and that they live inside the Prize Ball Guardian when they aren't Hibernating and like we saw with the Gumball Guardians that used to protect the Candy Kingdom it's possible that there are several of the Prize Ball Guardians traveling the world with either different Candy People or Clones of all the Candy People to try and guarantee the survival of her kingdom
i think the reason why she lost her kingdom had to do with that one episode where gonther went into her dream and ruined it while the cosmic owl was in it so it came true.
Did anyone notice princess bubblegums dream where Gunther interferes and destroys the kingdom I think the cosmic owl said whatever dreams he’s in comes true?
as the other comments said think that dream just foreshadowed PB being usurped by king of ooo. That wasn’t supposed to happen, Gunther made it happen (by telling cosmic owl to enter that dream) so he could get to PB’s rocket
I think the arc of the candy kingdom matches the arc of the humans within adventure time, leading to the mushroom and pup wars respectively. The candy people being trapped inside the prizeball guardian reminds me of the island of humans who were living in the digital world, their bodies being stored in pods. It’s like Marceline said, everything repeats over and over but nobody’s lived long enough to see the pattern.
If you watch the distant lands, together again. PB is frozen as a rock candy statue. And Peppermint Butler is dusting her off and keeping the kingdom under control. 30:18 Wonder what happened there?
you guys forget that she stopped being the ruler and left it in the hands of Peppermint Butler you have to assume that whoever was in control of the kingdom for over the years probably put the candy citizens in danger leading to her keeping them in the guardian indefinetly until she could figure out a new place for them to go. the real question is what happened to neddy if HE died then thats basically the death of the kingdom altogether which would lead to it being in ruins which would lead to her coming back and putting everyone in stasis
I'm so happy to see the revival of Adventure Time content on youtube. Once the show stopped airing episodes things dropped off, but there remains a huge audience and unexplored content
Honestly I don't agree with the theory that the reason why they're all bottled up is because of her wanting control. Because if you look at it from a writing standpoint and as a character corrupt skin point that would be regressing her character. Because presumably they did not want to be captured. I think it's more likely since we see the Elementals going at each other that there was another Elemental War. Another thing is I don't believe I watch the whole video through that you gave her explanation on why she's in prison. But if I had to make a series that it may either be self-imprisonment or the Elementals made her. I would only believe this because there are three new Elementals which would make bubblegum be the eldest one. And by her being the oldest one and this one of the smartest she would easily be a main target to go after. But I believe you can also theorize that bubblegum may have seen this coming and pocketed all of her people. And is either in prison because the other people the world made her or the Elementals did, or that's her way for a toning for yet again forcing her will on to her people. I think herself imprisoning would be a little bit more valid because it would make sense why Marceline would be scoping her out presumably looking for her.
It could be the Prize Ball Guardian is a safeguard to protect the inhabitants of the Candy Kingdom if Princess Bubblegum becomes incapacitated and isn't able to protect them. There could have been disasters or a war happening which theoretically PB could have found solutions to, but instead she was kidnapped by some outside force. The Prize Ball Guardian would be an emergency measure to gather up the candy people, protect them, and keep them moving away from danger. So even if PB gets killed, captured, or dies of old age, the safety of her kingdom wouldn't be something she would have to be worried about on top of whatever got to her. So it would just scoop up the candy people and protect them until someone could rescue PB, at which point she could contact the Prize Ball Guardian and make plans to rebuild the Candy Kingdom. The various rooms inside could act as a home or base for PB once she gets rescued from whatever got her and let her make plans for rebuilding the Kingdom.
Oh, hey, I was asking about this one! How did I not notice PB & Marcy in the first couple of seconds? This series keeps making me want to go back and watch the episodes again, because I'm now trying to remember if there's any reason the timeline you presented couldn't be reversed; could the Banana Guard have been taken out by the Ice Thing or something at that point, leaving the Guardian vulnerable to invasion in its first appearance?
Yes!! Thank you for the idea!! While I was doing research for this video, I found that the timeline is a pretty contested thing. Some people believe the Banana Guard came first, and some others don't. It's such an interesting thing to see, with not a lot of information to go with it 😅
Something I would like to know after watching this video is how princess bubblegum interacts with the pup kingdom. Maybe it's possible she assisted gibbon in taking away the insane powers of the pups.
Same, it's so interesting. Sadly, I don't think the creators give us enough evidence to suggest the two even clashed with each other. Maybe I'm missing something though...
There is one problem... in the episode where we see the after life world. The prince of the candy kingdom is our favourite mint mage. And he have a stone statue of princes, like she died. Maybe this person behind the bars is just another element of candy?
That is true, but I think the statue is the same statue from the episode "The Thing Yellow Line". In which Colonel Candy Corn makes it for PB. I think it's the same one in the future
PB probably intended them initially as mobile cities to keep the Candy Citizens safe, with them living in the apartment bodies. But then decided halfway through to just turn them into prisons to minimize accidents and work for herself.
It's been commented before but I'm also gonna bet that this is a drastic (defensive) measure rather than PB's end goal. True she's leaning towards the "controlling" type, one of her criteria is even if it's twisted, there should be a sort of happiness (like how she did not fix the stulidification of her uncle for example). There's that op nation hunting the unicorns. And maybe Starchie might have a significant role to play as well
I thought that it was due to more and more threats towards her kingdom. With the Ice Thing going crazy, the fire and slime elementals going to war, and Gibon going nuts too, PB probably had to take drastic measures to keep her citizens safe during such a dangerous time. Candy people are fragile and even bite the dust when they get scared. She probably made a tough decision to put her people in protective bubbles to keep them alive until things eventually get better
My theory is the Prizeball Guardian is a beefed up version of the Business Zombie’s “make everyone safe” plan-the “suck up all the people and secure them” thing is basically exactly the same plan
When I was a kid I use to love this cartoon so much and I still do till this day, I also remember me back then being scared because of how weird and magical it Felt like most cartoon Network cartoons
I wish there would be a series or mini-series about Beth and Shermy and their world, like the did with Fionna and Cake. I'm so intrigued to find out more about the events that led up to how it is now. The flying Banana guard being added to guard the Guardian (heh) means that PB or whoever is in charge of the candy people now is still playing an active role.
i want to give a question are we sure that the pink hands belong to Bubblegum? cause in Together Again, we see a grown up reformed Peppermint Buttler (from Wizard City) being the new candy kingdom prince(ss) even taking care of a Bubblegum monument/statue seemingly indicating that she had sadly passed away and based on the design of the kingdom, that was before the 1000 year future
Yeah at first I thought that was the same statue as the statue that Colonel Candy Corn made for her, but I re-watched it and it's definitely different. So that very well could be, that she passed away and it's some different candy elemental. However, I think the being searching for someone in the new intro, is definitely Marceline, so IDK 😅
@@paxw37 true, that is one i think is ment to be Marceline but also about those hands, if it is Bubblegum, why would she be in jail? i doubt Ice Thing took her and the only other time Bubblegum was in jail, was when Lemongrab I was in charge of the Candy Kingdom
I believe princess bubblegum during the second destruction of the world gathered all her people into prizeball guardian and theyre just too scared to leave the sleeping pods when they have a literal walking apartment complex my guess is it wasnt finished and was supposed to allow them to do as they pleased
I think this was Princess Bubblegum's croak dream formulating into reality. We know that bird girl (Gunther) ruined her dream because she felt like "she had to" she had to make her kingdom fall Well it did happen in "hot diggidy doom" but with the intervention of Marcelline that lead to the events of the stakes mini series the candy people started a revolution and she rules the kingdom again, but even if they are reversible croak dreams are bound to repeat Like how on episode "New Frontier", Jake was croaked dreamed to die of suffocation. Finn's intervention stopped that from happening and again in episode "The Comet" banana man saved Jake from dying in space. So we know external intervention can stop Destiny, but it can happen again and can be stopped again. This would mean Gunther ruining her dream is a way of stopping Princess bubblegum from making her eternal empire. Maybe as a cosmic deity Gunther/Orgalorg felt like he had to stop a growing force such as PB? We know she's planning to conquer space from a certain UFO episode, that croak dream may have made major setbacks to her goal but we know PB is resilient, all is left for us is leftover narrative to ponder about
That's actually a pretty good point and I never thought of it that way. Like I was literally about to say "but her croak dream came true when she lost her kingdom to the King of Ooo". But I think I agree with you. I think Marceline did intervene, like Finn did with Jake's croak dream. Very interesting stuff
I don't think that's the case with the empty room. I think that once upon a time they were rooms for the candy people, but something happened that led them to be sent into the capsules and the apartments were then abandoned.
At around 3:30 talking about knowing how it’s her. I wonder if the Ice Thing has the same princess kidnapping desire that the Ice King did. I know the original Gunther’s wish based it off his view of Evergreen, but I’m assuming our Gunther based his wish off of his Ice King.
I personally think she was just trying to keep them safe she wants her kingdom and legacy to last forever its why she made a space colony and most likely why she made the prizeball guardian
Another great video Paxw! BUT I'm still under the belief that the Candy Ppl are being kept protected from Goliad lol IK-Orgalorg is too consumed by it's own madness and grief. I firmly believe that's why the ice mtns look sad and angry. Turtle Princess dies at some point, perhaps by Gibbon. Did IK-Orgalorg capture PB? Possibly. But is it the biggest problem in Ooo 1K yrs later? I dont think so. Kinda like when they met the version of it at the Temple of Mars. It rly just messed around like an apathetic prankster. Most dangerous ppl in 1K AT, imo? Patience St. Pym, IK-Orgalorg, Princess Bubblegum (or Aunt Loli, if she truly usurped B.Gum), Gibbon and the species of "Pups" and of c, that gurl, Goliad. Honorable Mention: The Farm x D lmao! Lastly, considering the non-consecutive nature of the show, do you think that Qubert meeting and damaging the PB Guard happened before or after Shermy & Beth met it in the final ep? I think they met it first, then Qubert destroys it later, accidentally. Ah the glorious speculation
It's a pretty good theory, but I just can't wrap my head around Ooo being controlled by Goliad. I just don't think there's enough there to support it. I think the G's throughout Ooo could stand for two things. First, Gibbon and his Pup Kingdom. Second, the same G that we saw from Gumbaldia. However, I do agree with you that the new IK-Orgalorg probably captures PB a lot, kind of like how Ice King did back then. But I do agree, I don't think it's Ooo's biggest problem, probably just another day in the life of Princess Bubblegum. It terms of a timeline, I said it in the video, but I think Cuber comes first. Only because that way there would be a reason to have the Banana Guard there, to protect the Prize Ball Guardian from getting destroyed again. But it can be looked at both ways. LOVE theorizing! And I would love to know more about your Goliad theory. I'm not super onboard with it right now. but maybe I just don't know enough about it
@@paxw37 well, I think theres a few other very subtle hints in the 1K eps. For example, Lemonstory. During that flash forward, we see him walking through these ruined city streets. Theres this sign above him that could easily be mistaken for a lollipop but it looks like Goliads eye stalk. See, it's not something you associate due to the disassociated elements of the events. Why WOULD you think Goliad at this point? That was a long mention from the Lemonhope story, far removed. Second, let's observe the events between Elements and the Gumball War. The reversion of Uncle Gumbald was done off screen. You see the punch bowl getting voided by LSP but you dont see what actually happened w that til later. We've discussed this before- Stormo and Goliad appear in the end of the series, similarly to what I just described. Isnt it weird to you? The animators, specifically, had us believe the demons rounded the Candy Kingdom JUST to come back to BMO? Nah bro- they did something off-screen to disrupt the psychic battle between Stormo and Goliad. Third, why did PB create Goliad? To succeed her, in memoriam. Goliad was built to be immortal. Those G's in the arc are ambiguous- ambiguous enough to apply. I agree w you- could be a number of G related characters. For all we know, it could stand for Glob or Grof lol and I do lean to Gibbon, to be the most accurate, but I dont scratch out Goliad bc it's highly possible. Fourth, the strange weather patterns. Alot could be behind that- but why not Stormo? Aside, I wanted to bring back up the PB Guardian. What if there are 2? Just like with the GB Guardians? I think that could be possible too. Examining the PB Guardian, it definitely seems to be something like a mobile fortress. Those squares on its chest resemble apartments. Why would she build something like this? PB made some enemies in the future- whether it was the grays, space pup army, Gibbon, Goliad, IK, or ST Pym, that woman is wanted lol w the Candy Kingdom usurped (which, I think you mentioned here, that is a cyclical issue for her!) she probably developed these to collect and contain her citizens until a new CK could be formed. As it relates to that girl Goliad, I dont think she could control ppl in this state of suspended animation. It's an odd way to protect her citizens, for sure. I strongly support Goliad resurging in 1K's future. Goliad proved to be an awesome antagonist w so much potential. Unfortunately, theres not much I could point to here to support Goliad's influence. We dont get much, as you know. But, I will add, I NEVER saw PB's solution to Goliad to be effective. She literally believed they'd cancel each other out forever. Do you believe that? Lol
I think the true intention was when she said this. "If I could live forever I would, I've tried" It was made to make sure her candy kingdom would be safe after she passes.
in the dark living quarters you can see a framed photo of the old candy kingdom from finn and jakes time so the whole “this used to be where PB lived” theory isnt too far off
i personally believe she evacuated candy kingdom (city) in some kind of state of emergency. it seems like a last resort decision to leave the kingdom & relocate all her citizens to a safer place to start over. she was probably meant to live in those living quarters while prize ball guardian relocates all of them but maybe, in the midst of this emergency or attack, pb was kidnapped & taken prisoner. this could be why the prize ball guardian now just wanders around aimlessly. still waiting for orders from pb on where to go. my only question would be, who fixed prize ball guardian & gave him extra security if pb is missing ? makes me think someone might be standing in for her while she’s gone & attempting to save what’s left of the candy civilization. thinking of the future of ooo is SO interesting. i really hope they do a spin off someday exploring all of this. maybe shermy & beth could help marcy rescue pb & save the candy kingdom ?? i feel like shermy getting finn’s sword at the end of come along with me could be a sign that shermy would follow finn’s footsteps & become a hero. plus bmo is still alive so he could tag along too :)
Same reason she made the gumball guardians because the threat is real and a mobile strategy might be superior. I sight immortal engines traction cities and the quantum thief's oubliette as parellels. Same as sighting The dark tower and the silmarillion as parellels for the outsiders like glob and the lich and dieing world motif. (I believe mr.ward and his writers read my sort of dark fantasy and science fiction) Also the dog ranicorn hybrids are probably hostile and expansionist. Bubblegum and marceline still making it work after a thousand years sounds like something they would do. Also candy people are dumb as bricks sometimes and putting them in hard shell protection would keep them from harming themselves.
The main episodes I go over in this video are "Graybles 1000+" and "Come Along With Me". I do think there will be a new series coming out soon though about Adventure Time
For all we know, she eloped with Marcy somewhere and made the PrizeBall Guardian, not only their protector but King too, or just left everything to Peppermint Butler as implied in that same episode. And she lives on to them as their distant, watchful mother/Prince-in-the-mountian deity.
Adventure time had so much story left to tell and that rush ending 😩 it’s sad it wasn’t the pop culture sensation it should have been. Although fin and Jake and really ugly drawings compared to other successes and trendy cartoon merchandises. Still, I hope they make a movie, live action show or cgi animation rendition about it. I think and suspect this show will age incredibly well and maybe get an adult swim type of run in the future diving deep into the forbidden history.
Honestly they only really rushed about one season's worth of material, failed to really make the other Candy Kingdom interesting because of that. Remember part of the theme of the show is literally the adventure never ends in other words life continues on no matter what part of the reason they show us glimpses of the future throughout the series and then especially in the finale is to illustrate this, it's really less about us knowing exactly what happened than it is about knowing just that the world continued on, and that what makes life worth living will continue on long after we and even the world ad we know it is gone, but also our lives still mattered and plant seeds for the future. That is what Shermy and Beth finding the newly regrown Finn/Fern Sword symbolized.
İ wish it was like gravity falls Giving us all awnsers little questions left (what happened to bill? İs he really gone etc.) So we can theory about it but yet we can satisfy with other Mysteries solved already ( like in gravity falls we see who was writer and we can see what happened after from official diary 3 book)
Yeah I understand where you're coming from. But at the same time, I think that's what makes Adventure Time so fun. The fact that not everything is solved, allowing the viewers to speculate and imagine on what the mystery is.
@@paxw37 just tryna help people with my blunt opinions by using rather dopamine infused comments that help with the targets physiological state of mind.
I agree with maxzapsgaming, I think the Prizeball Guardian was made to protect the citizens since PB is kinda MIA for them, but I have to wonder if it wasn't the Ice Thing that locked her up, but Gibbon.
Its creator actually said that she was told to maker a creature who they can reference to for an upcoming gacha spinoff card game for the adventure time series that got cancelled after the market got saturated.
I wish they rebooted/continued the come along with me show because it is certainly more interesting than Fionna and cake, but I guess the big people (the CEO of HBO max or smth) thought differently.
Yeah, and I don't disagree, but I think the Fionna and Cake series can turn out to be really cool. With Simon being one of the characters, I think it will be interesting
It's cool that you caught onto that! That's actually what they call "Phil Face". It's an inside joke of the Adventure Time creators to resemble the face of Adventure Time lead character designer Phil Rynda
Imo judging by how simple minded the candy kingdom citizens are. My guess is that PB" created such a guardian to ensure all of her citizens live a danger-free while she's away. Makes sense, since while she's around. She has to protect her citizens but since she's no where in sight. It's obvious she had to come up with a long-term solution, while in her absence. Also it's shown that her kingdom is no longer around. So everyone in that prize machine guardian, are in like a stasis-like state and are blissfully unaware that their ruler is no longer around.
No, that was Marcilene searching for her, did you notice the initials on the telescope were MA, short for marcilene abadeer, also did you watch for five seconds after you wrote the comment?
My theory pb kingdom made enemies lots of enemies with the human and pups because it pb she out of her mind and her over controll thing finally bites her in the back. They probably couldn't get along and it end with a other war but with out finn and jake which led to the land of oooa being a wastland in choas and fear

He provably is trying to divide, conquer, and rule over thr pup kingdom with an iron fist. This would also explain why he outcasted Beth the "princess" of the pup kingdom
Where did you find that he used the gem to seal the pups powers?
I always thought of Prize Ball Guardian serving as a literal Guardian that keeps the Candy People in Hibernation and safe from the many Monsters of Ooh after the Candy Kingdom was destroyed in some disaster or war and it was probably meant to be a temporary solution at least until Princess Bubblegum could either rebuild the Candy Kingdom or Ooh became safe enough for them to survive without her the Inside was probably meant to be where she and Marceline lived probably with some Banana Guards and some of the smarter Candy People like Peppermint Butler
it's also possible that the Candy Citizens are swapped in and out of Hibernation every couple of days or weeks and that they live inside the Prize Ball Guardian when they aren't Hibernating and like we saw with the Gumball Guardians that used to protect the Candy Kingdom it's possible that there are several of the Prize Ball Guardians traveling the world with either different Candy People or Clones of all the Candy People to try and guarantee the survival of her kingdom
Hmmm... you bring up some great points. This could very well possible be the case
i think the reason why she lost her kingdom had to do with that one episode where gonther went into her dream and ruined it while the cosmic owl was in it so it came true.
That could be true. But I think we see that play out in the "Hot Diggity Doom" episode. When PB loses to the King of Ooo and has to leave her kingdom
Did anyone notice princess bubblegums dream where Gunther interferes and destroys the kingdom I think the cosmic owl said whatever dreams he’s in comes true?
Yeah I always saw that episode so interesting. I just could never figure out why
Well Gunther is ice thing now, so he destroyed the kingdom maybe
@@paxw37 I thought it prophesied the king of Ooo taking over the candy kingdom
as the other comments said think that dream just foreshadowed PB being usurped by king of ooo.
I can’t wait to see your channel blow up the way you deserve! I love the content man!!!!
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!!!
If you watch the distant lands, together again. PB is frozen as a rock candy statue. And Peppermint Butler is dusting her off and keeping the kingdom under control. 30:18 Wonder what happened there?
you guys forget that she stopped being the ruler and left it in the hands of Peppermint Butler
you have to assume that whoever was in control of the kingdom for over the years probably put the candy citizens in danger leading to her keeping them in the guardian indefinetly until she could figure out a new place for them to go. the real question is what happened to neddy
if HE died then thats basically the death of the kingdom altogether which would lead to it being in ruins which would lead to her coming back and putting everyone in stasis
I'm so happy to see the revival of Adventure Time content on youtube. Once the show stopped airing episodes things dropped off, but there remains a huge audience and unexplored content
Couldn't agree any more!!!
Technically, PSP is the oldest. Because when she froze herself, there was already a candy elemental. So I believe the theory.
It's such an interesting thing to see, with not a lot of information to go with it 😅
I love the script in this video, using all of the perfectly 'Adventure Time'-ish slang, really adds to the experience :3
Thank you!!!
2:15 I mean, the world almost ended several times during the show
There is one problem... in the episode where we see the after life world.
Dude I can't wait for the collab, I'm so excited
It's been commented before but I'm also gonna bet that this is a drastic (defensive) measure rather than PB's end goal. True she's leaning towards the "controlling" type, one of her criteria is even if it's twisted, there should be a sort of happiness (like how she did not fix the stulidification of her uncle for example). There's that op nation hunting the unicorns. And maybe Starchie might have a significant role to play as well
*What is my purpose?*
"You protect the gumballs."
*Oh my Glob*
😂😂
This is legit something to look upon and wish for any adventure time content
This video has the frantic energy of a hyperactive child left unattended in a theme park and the stench of a desperate appeal to be found cool.
Very specific. I like it
how do you manage to perfectly replicate finn’s slang in your script what
I wish there would be a series or mini-series about Beth and Shermy and their world, like the did with Fionna and Cake. I'm so intrigued to find out more about the events that led up to how it is now. The flying Banana guard being added to guard the Guardian (heh) means that PB or whoever is in charge of the candy people now is still playing an active role.
i want to give a question
are we sure that the pink hands belong to Bubblegum?
cause in Together Again, we see a grown up reformed Peppermint Buttler (from Wizard City) being the new candy kingdom prince(ss)
even taking care of a Bubblegum monument/statue
seemingly indicating that she had sadly passed away
and based on the design of the kingdom, that was before the 1000 year future
Yeah at first I thought that was the same statue as the statue that Colonel Candy Corn made for her, but I re-watched it and it's definitely different. So that very well could be, that she passed away and it's some different candy elemental. However, I think the being searching for someone in the new intro, is definitely Marceline, so IDK 😅
@@paxw37 true, that is one i think is ment to be Marceline
but also about those hands, if it is Bubblegum, why would she be in jail?
i doubt Ice Thing took her
and the only other time Bubblegum was in jail, was when Lemongrab I was in charge of the Candy Kingdom
@@paxw37 she could have just retired for a while
I believe princess bubblegum during the second destruction of the world gathered all her people into prizeball guardian and theyre just too scared to leave the sleeping pods when they have a literal walking apartment complex my guess is it wasnt finished and was supposed to allow them to do as they pleased
I saw the thumbnail and i immediately said "to pass butter"
benson ultimate form
This comment is the only reason I clicked this video
I think this was Princess Bubblegum's croak dream formulating into reality. We know that bird girl (Gunther) ruined her dream because she felt like "she had to" she had to make her kingdom fall
Well it did happen in "hot diggidy doom" but with the intervention of Marcelline that lead to the events of the stakes mini series the candy people started a revolution and she rules the kingdom again, but even if they are reversible croak dreams are bound to repeat
Like how on episode "New Frontier", Jake was croaked dreamed to die of suffocation.
Yes they both are alive
I don't think that's the case with the empty room. I think that once upon a time they were rooms for the candy people, but something happened that led them to be sent into the capsules and the apartments were then abandoned.
At around 3:30 talking about knowing how it’s her. I wonder if the Ice Thing has the same princess kidnapping desire that the Ice King did. I know the original Gunther’s wish based it off his view of Evergreen, but I’m assuming our Gunther based his wish off of his Ice King.
Kinda, he proposed to Turtle Princess
I personally think she was just trying to keep them safe she wants her kingdom and legacy to last forever its why she made a space colony and most likely why she made the prizeball guardian
U know I don't believe adventure time is over. Cuz there's just so much more mystery
I hope so you're right. I hope we get more spin-off series in the future
Seeing the thumbnail I felt compelled to leave this: “It passes Butter”
"If I could live forever I would, I've tried"
It was made to make sure her candy kingdom would be safe after she passes.
It is basically a giant walking hotel but the people are sleeping in the little containers and they are sleeping in them for thousands of years
0:51 He keeps that THANG on him 😂
😂😂😂
in the dark living quarters you can see a framed photo of the old candy kingdom from finn and jakes time so the whole “this used to be where PB lived” theory isnt too far off
i personally believe she evacuated candy kingdom (city) in some kind of state of emergency. it seems like a last resort decision to leave the kingdom & relocate all her citizens to a safer place to start over. she was probably meant to live in those living quarters while prize ball guardian relocates all of them but maybe, in the midst of this emergency or attack, pb was kidnapped & taken prisoner. this could be why the prize ball guardian now just wanders around aimlessly. still waiting for orders from pb on where to go. my only question would be, who fixed prize ball guardian & gave him extra security if pb is missing ? makes me think someone might be standing in for her while she’s gone & attempting to save what’s left of the candy civilization.
thinking of the future of ooo is SO interesting. i really hope they do a spin off someday exploring all of this. maybe shermy & beth could help marcy rescue pb & save the candy kingdom ?? i feel like shermy getting finn’s sword at the end of come along with me could be a sign that shermy would follow finn’s footsteps & become a hero. plus bmo is still alive so he could tag along too :)
(I believe mr.ward and his writers read my sort of dark fantasy and science fiction)
Also the dog ranicorn hybrids are probably hostile and expansionist.
Bubblegum and marceline still making it work after a thousand years sounds like something they would do.
Also candy people are dumb as bricks sometimes and putting them in hard shell protection would keep them from harming themselves.
Is it new episodes? Thanks for confirming that's Bubblegum and Marceline, that's going to hunt me hahaha
The main episodes I go over in this video are "Graybles 1000+" and "Come Along With Me". I do think there will be a new series coming out soon though about Adventure Time
@Paxw it'll be a spin off called "Finoa and Cake". Simon will appear as well.
i liked those subtitles at the beginning and then they just ended abruptly..
Those pink hands could belong to any candy elemental though and Marceline is still set to rescue them.
I thought PB died, from that episode where Peppermint Butler was cleaning a memorial statue of PB.
I hope 🙏
Isn't anyone seeing the alien wearing princess bubblegum crown at 1:57 of the video

So we can theory about it but yet we can satisfy with other Mysteries solved already ( like in gravity falls we see who was writer and we can see what happened after from official diary 3 book)
Yeah I understand where you're coming from. But at the same time, I think that's what makes Adventure Time so fun. The fact that not everything is solved, allowing the viewers to speculate and imagine on what the mystery is.

I agree with maxzapsgaming, I think the Prizeball Guardian was made to protect the citizens since PB is kinda MIA for them, but I have to wonder if it wasn't the Ice Thing that locked her up, but Gibbon.
What if it was turtle princesses death that turned Gunther mad again
My guess would be that the pup kingdom did something to neddy as the kingdom used neddy as one of its main recouces
The fact that you don't see humans concerns me a bit

I thought that was Benson from regular show 💀

if we ever continue adventure time outside of fionna and cake I wonder if they're gonna keep going with the 1000+ future or current day
it's shown that candy kingdom was fated to fall because of the cosmic owl

It's an inside joke of the Adventure Time creators to resemble the face of Adventure Time lead character designer Phil Rynda
ok
Imo judging by how simple minded the candy kingdom citizens are. My guess is that PB" created such a guardian to ensure all of her citizens live a danger-free while she's away. Makes sense, since while she's around. She has to protect her citizens but since she's no where in sight. It's obvious she had to come up with a long-term solution, while in her absence. Also it's shown that her kingdom is no longer around. So everyone in that prize machine guardian, are in like a stasis-like state and are blissfully unaware that their ruler is no longer around.
