ESPN didn’t mention AJ’s loyalty. He got a lot of pressure to hit the transfer portal and leave Boise State for a lot of NIL money. He declined to stay at BSU - out of loyalty. Virtually unheard of. He is incredible, Heisman or no Heisman.
I mean, we give him $600k and he gets his own house (for free) here in the fastest growing city in America. Grass isn't always greener. He'll get more in the NFL.
The most deserving one for the heisman. He has everything, he not gunna smack talk the other contenders, he is always gunna smile and work hard and he is loyal. He sits on another level compared to these other contenders the talking heads wanna give the trophy to. Let the fans vote.
I love watching him play. He's slowing down since the UNLV game but I hope he continues and pushes hard. And hopefully all the attention doesn't push him into the spotlight too much.
Listen, Travis Hunter is a beast for sure. Playing both sides is impressive, but not unheard of and been done before - Myles Jack UCLA good example, and travis isn't DOMINATING either side of the ball. Making big plays, but not dominating. Jeanty is dominating the running back position and putting up Video game numbers. Give him the heisman
Travis is DOMINATING both sides of the ball what are you talking about lol? What he’s doing has never been seen before, at least since the 1940s. Miles Jack is the dumbest comparison I’ve seen, Jack wasn’t averaging over 100 snaps a game. Teams weren’t game planning around Jack on both sides of the ball. Jeanty is running against tomato cans in the MWC, Travis is averaging over 100 yards receiving and allowing 15 yards per game at CB against Power 4 receivers and cornerbacks.
@@dawsonschilz Woodson took a few snaps on offense, Travis takes every snap on offense and is considered a top 3 receiver in the nfl draft, and the number 1 cb off the board. He’s doing both at the same time. Jeanty is putting up numbers in the MWC. If he’s playing in the Power 4 he’d still be great but he wouldn’t be in the Heisman conversation.
I seriously don’t understand why Hunter is even close to the race compared to Ashton. Hunter is not a game changer making his team win and they lost twice to not good teams and his he’s not breaking any records. But Ashton is breaking records and making his team win. It’s no question Ashton is the winner of this continues. And Dillon isn’t doing anything heisman worthy, he’s just the an on the number one team. A team that BSU should have beat by two scores but they got two lucky kick returns for scores to barely win
Heisman trophy goes to the best college athlete during the year, Ashton Jeanty is an amazing running back and he deserves to be a high draft pick. If Travis Hunter wasn't around this wouldn't even be a discussion but unless he breaks Barry Sanders record, he just had a amazing year for a running back.
Why is Hunter more deserving? He is not the best DB or the best Receiver but because he does both he automatically gets it? So so so many college athletes could do what hunter is doing, but the coaches shut it down, so Hunter is not some freak of nature. He even smack talked a little, but here is jeanty dominating and smiling and staying humble. Jeanty by far deserves the award more than anyone.
Nice story. Love to see it. Bro should have left Boise State for that paper. Heisman should go to Travis Hunter. In baseball if there was only one MVP and Ohtani is a top hitter and pitcher then I’m picking Ohtani over Judge and I’m a Yankee fan. The story is not the reason for the Heisman. If Hunter was still at Jackson State no one’s would be talking about him for the Heisman
Boise state fan here. This kid deserves the heisman. He could’ve left us for a bigger school, but stayed loyal to us. He’s a beast mode kind of dude
Thank you for giving him a chance to prove himself he's done just that and continues to do so
Same for hunter tho 🙃
My son played with him at Lonestar High in Frisco...kid is amazing.

U r right, my friend.
Dude's a straight up beast
He’s such a kind person too, give him the Heisman
Physical talent and good parenting. That's a winning combination in whatever Ashton decides to do.
He is just a good young man with a good heart.
I literally get chills when I watch this kid run! So marvelously satisfying to watch him do what he does. 😃
Dude deserves the Heisman. He's had the most impressive season.
No

Nah
Not even close

This dude going play in NFL for many yrs
What’s not to love about this guy? Everyone in America should root for this guy getting the Heisman.
Give that man his trophy

Travis hunter is leading his team
Ashton is carrying his team
