not many ghazal lovers know him. I heard him a decade ago for the first time and since then a big fan of his melodious voice. he should be given more space on TV to express his voice.

Amazing program, loved the selection of songs. One thing I must say is that Mehwish was a good selection for the host, her voice is not loud or screechy like many modern hosts I see in Pakistan.

I have never heard such a melodious voice. Sometime his voice resembles with Mehdi Hasan, sometime with Jagjit Singh and sometime with Ghulam Ali.

مہدی حسن جیسے صدیوں میں ایک آدھ پیدا ہوتے ہیں ۔ ان کا کمال یہ تھا کہ راگ اور غزل کو ایک دوسرے میں مدغم کر دیتے تھے ۔ تنگگنائے غزل میں راگ کے ہر ہر پہلو کو یوں سموتے کہ راگ اپنی تمام رعنائیوں سمیت دلہن بن کر شائقین کے دل پر راج کرتا ۔ اس پر ان کا بھاری کھرج ، عمدہ تلفظ اور نچلے سا تک آسانی سے جانے والی آواز ایک معجزہ تھا جو ایک نسل نے برپا ہوتے دیکھا ۔ ان کو جتنا ٹریبیوٹ پیش کیا جائے کم ہے ۔

He shall be singing his own original gazals rather than imitating legendary Ustad Mehdi Hasan. He has the best voice among contemporary gazal singers.If he keeps on rendering gazals by someone else he will always remain a copy cat. With such a beautiful voice with depth , variation , great tone and exemplary command over high pitch he can be a great gazal singer in his own terms.

I first heard Muhammad Ali Sahib with Pratibha Singh Baghel singing "dhola sili sili--". I desired a lot to listen to his other singing. And i got this chance without my searching for it. I wasn't aware of it . I am speechless. I love good music but I know very little of music. At the age of 70 I can at the most whistle. I consider myself lucky even getting that much.

Gazals are always a treat for ears... Sur aur awaz ke bare mien baat karna chot amuh badi baat hogi... lekin ek baat kehna chahunga ki mahan fankar Mohammad Ali sahb ji ek Ajooba hain . Bohot badhiya orchestrated music by the great Kamran Akhtar ji and all the team. Great music. Gazal sunte sunte Nazar aapse hat nhi Rahi thi.. aap Kamal hain Mehwish hayaat ji. Aur the co host is full of knowledge and the authority in his voice and command over speech.
