It was lovely, I really can recommend Princess, one of my favourite cruise lines

Hi Steve, what a lovely room. Great tour! We are looking forward to one day sailing on Sky Princess and checking out those comfy mattresses you recommended 😀 👍

Thank you, it’s a great ship and such a great bed 😂

Like you said, for £50 more it would be worth it, but its really only internal space you're gaining and a robe. And by the way, those balconies are indeed narrow. Its like you step out and with that 1 step, the railing is right there! Not great for people who maybe have a touch of vertigo.
On the plus side, the décor is really nice; the contemporary tones all blend to create a relaxed space to be in.
And you may have mentioned subtly, quietly, and in an understated way, that the bed is not bad either, may have missed that though😏😄
    Nice work Steve 👍

Great review thanks. We have booked a mini suite, Is there power sockets next to the bed? My husband has a cpap machine and will need power near the bed.

Hi, there isn’t a socket on the bedside but the sockets on the desk/vanity unit are pretty close so unless your machine has a particularly short cable you should be ok. Worst case although extension leads are on the prohibited list your cabin attendant should be able to provide one for you. Enjoy your cruise!

The mattress on that bed is sagging just like it was in our cabin on Sky Princess. The ship is 3 years old. So there's no excuse.

Although it looks like its sagging a bit it was still really very comfortable. I don't know how often they change them but the cruise after mine it was in for dry dock so they may have changed them then?

@@CruisewithSteve Our mattress actually looked worse and we were on Sky Princess in June. We notified our cabin steward about it and he just turned it over. Also our bathtub drain was completely clogged with hair. Fortunately he took care of that. After 5 cruises on Princess it's time for us to switch.

@@DaveM-FFB Oh thats not good, I've had no problems with Princess but maybe thats just luck, who are you switching to?

@@CruisewithSteve Oceania! We've sailed on their 1,250 passenger ship Riviera twice. The veranda cabin on Riviera is about the same size as a Princess mini suite. But Oceania is more luxurious and more things are included (like no charge for specialty dining, or soft drinks). After adding the Princess Plus package to the mini suite the pricing is basically the same.

@@DaveM-FFB Nice, Oceania is definitely on my list to try
