Termination is used to minimize the reflection as well as cross talk. In later videos series we will show you practical example of how to perform the same. till then stay tuned and subscribe to us. Sorry for the late reply
Hi Mahesh, thanks for the Query. " The Ground plane acts as a return path for the current. From the basics, if we see" current always flow in a closed loop. That's the main reason we use Ground via to connect and complete the current loop for the particular signal"
Best explanation of termination on RUclips
EMA Design Automation
Pretty good summary of termination techniques. Thank you for sharing !
Glad it was helpful!
very good
Thank you so much

great tutorial
Thanks :) Keep Supporting
Very good explanation and topic wise upload would suggest you..but sound is little low..please work on that ...great work keep it up
Hi Indrajeet. Thanks for the feedback.
Can you please make a video on Tools explaining the procedure to perform signal integrity analysis on a PCB board ?
We are planning simulation based tutorials
Termination is only for reduce reflections ? or if any crosstalk minimization(next & fext) in victims ?

Hi, Thanks for the video. Do we use Series and Parallel termination together or only one at once?
It depends on the design requirements. But if we talk about the possibility of it, then the answer is YES
When will i expect SI videos on next topic. You are very clearly explaining about the topics.
Hi Raja,
I have been offline for a while...
Will start uploading more videos on SI /PI and Highspeed Board Design Soon.
Thanks for the Support
Very nice lecture, thank you! May you recommend some book or reference materials so i can study to go deeper in this subject?
Hi Pedro,
Thanks for being supportive.
For signal integrity studies, I would recommend you to read “Signal Integrity: Simplified “ by Eric Bogatin
@@bhardwajh_2701 thank you for your answer!
Why ground via is required in differential vias. What is the main reason. What will happen if we were not used the ground via.
Hi Mahesh, thanks for the Query.

I want to understand in detail how reflection would occur.. Please help
In video i have mentioned that reflection occurs when there is mismatch in impedance profile.
