I thought they were honking at you for a sec after seeing those boats getting bridges open. lol. Another great video, even though you had a few challenges.
@@robertgates2769 me too, it scared the crap out of me! Oshkosh is a great area but this wasn’t the best paddling route I could have chosen. Stay tuned for many more videos from 2024. So much more to edit/post!
So awesome to see you kayak. Just Kayaking in Florida down and East of Tampa in the Clear Spring fill Rivers Here there the Best. Plus you love Gators 🐊
I do love paddling both gators! I’m very envious of your opportunity to paddle year round! Thanks for watching. Stay tuned for many more of my 2024 adventures!
@@Redkayaklady I hope you get to Paddle the Fresh water Springs Down in Florida a Friend use to send videos and it so dam clear. PS I love the Hate you have on Power Boats that don’t look out for you. 😂🤣😅😂
Thank you! I’m having a great yet busy holiday season. Was sidetracked for a bit but glad to be channeling my creative energy back to editing my video. So much more to come from 2024!
@@KeithGrover-o3l holidays and work have kept me quite busy, but as things are settling down, I will have much more time to edit the mini destinations. I hit this summer, so stay tuned! Thanks for watching.
@@chiefenumclaw7960 I actually really like Oshkosh and I enjoyed the time I spent there! I find it to be a city that has a lot to offer for its size as far as culture and dining etc. I’ve paddled the Fox River around Omro and I find that to be a really pleasant paddle. Stay tuned because when I left Oshkosh, I went up to Door County and that was fantastic!
Sad but true that some cities haven’t moved on from their industrial past and made their waters more of an attraction. On the bright side, the Fox River is recovering nicely since the paper mills were shut by the EPA.
@@skyak4493 that is really good news. Perhaps I didn’t research the Oshkosh area enough on exactly where to paddle. I knew Lake Winnebago wouldn’t be ideal kayaking, but I have paddled further down the Fox River in the Omro area and I found that to be quite pleasant.
Hey would you be interested in a pair of antique 1960s FOLBOT Kayak Paddles in very good condition? *I even have the leather carrying cases they came in ...*
I lived in Oshkosh most of my life and have no arguments on your paddling review. I almost never did any paddling there, mostly all big water and too much power boat traffic. not very interesting, not at all intimate.
I’m glad to hear that validation from a local! Oshkosh is not a bad town, but not appealing for kayaking. But hey, it could be worse. It could be Fond du Lac. 😆

Boy, you really gave ol' Oshkosh a paddlin' in this one. 😂 You weren't wrong though. I appreciate you sharing your honest and candid thoughts.

I’m intrigued! I definitely have an affinity for the vintage, but I know nothing about vintage kayaking equipment.
Oshkosh by gosh
That’s the one!

your vids are not playing in 60 fps btw
Thanks for that input. I’m not sure how I can adjust that, however.
@Redkayaklady maybe it's lost in editing somehow
