My favourite are his landscapes. So beautiful with his unique style.

      As a landscape artist, I can’t help but agree🙂

Great video. Good speaker - seems very knowledgeable. Will totally use this to highlight some of the works I discuss annually with my high school students.

I was familiar with his wonderful landscapes - not aware of his abstractions. Very cool. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

His abstractions are fantastic. They should be out in the Canadian public view a lot more instead of academic landscapes. Cheers

Unfortunately, the Canadian artists are underrated. I like their winter scenes a lot. It has a unique mood to it. I myself paint different subjects and styles, but have created my own unique style called Expromanticism.

I like his earlier works ...not so much his later stuff... our family grew up around the Group of Seven as my parents knew A J and A Y and others 1950 - 1970's ...

The influence of Tom Thompson is clear.

Always great. We just forget. And, please don’t quote him and Canada in the same breath.

@@johnmartlew5897 no not great anymore, we've lost our identity, because our identity apparently is something to be ashamed of. Screw globalism, Canada first! And grow up will you. We get it...ORANGE MAN BAD!!! You must be quite woke, my friend.
