Here is the first deep dive into my craft room. Come along with me as we open all he drawers and look at all the messes lol. Then I’ll post updated videos showing if I’ve made any changes to those areas. It’s time to purge those rooms (just a little bit lol)

😂 We all need a craft room friend to clean out our room once we pass. If we leave it up to our husbands - it’s all going in the trash.

I send my cousin a package every month of all my destash, extras, and scraps. I also will make some die cuts for her because she cant afford to buy craft supplies. Its so adorable how excited she is about learning and we are about to make her wedding album.
I hope youre able to pass on the things you will never use, its space for new things!!!

@@letsgetscrappy2654 it's rare to have a family member (and I actually like her lol) and that's exactly why I'm encouraging her to keep going even though she can't afford all the things. I'm a hoarder so will never use it all anyway 😂

I feel right at home. I keep my wooden stamps in several Iris 8 1/2 x 11 thin bins. Try putting your enamel dots and rhinestones on binder rings and hang them. I have hung these old black square racks I used for paper storage ages ago. I cut the rack, turn up the wire and hang my bling there. It’s fun to see the colors.

Cleaned out lots of craft stuff at the end of summer and gave it to a teacher friend-she took it to her school and put it in the teachers lounge -they took whatever worked for their grade and classrooms!

Definitely keep all your paperclips because you can hang charms on. I had dog paperclips & strung some string from it with the brads glued on both sides & it looked so cute!

I bet someone like me is destashing around you, have you tried offer up? I find good things looking there or estate sales
Lol, thank you for sharing. I have been slowly purging my craft items so they fit in my craft room. The Martha Stewart glue is one of the items I just tossed. Bought it on clearance and never used it.
I use Velcro to attach the cords to the desk leg after I’ve wrapped them up.

For enamel dots i have clear acrylic drawers that I use to separate them by color. Target has their acrylic containers on sale this week and I bought a ton.

YESSSSS, I JUST STARTED TO RE-ARRANGE MY CRAFT ROOM. I FEEL SO CLUTTERED BUT I REALLY THINK IT'S HOW MY FURNITURE IS SET UP. WISH ME LUCK 😜
I feel ya on the set up, having the right storage makes a huge difference. But Girl you got this 😜.
Ok you win!! The next time I get the “you must own HL and Michaels and JoAnn”, I’m pulling up your video. All kidding aside, you have done an amazing job so far!!! You got this girl…keep rolling. I was just looking for some of my Tim Holtz people I had gotten to ad to Shelby’s birthday card, I said it’s like Christmas I find stuff I’ve gotten and then the mind whirls around what can I get making! I’ve got to purge too! Everyone knows Shelby & my granddaughter get all the craft goodness! I said it’s up to them to split or fight over 😂🤣😂 I loved the video, it’s going to be inspiring to purge I hope you get points for people watching I will start a video when I’m going to bed, I’ll fall asleep and it’s played and onto one of your next videos 😁 it’s not that your boring I fall asleep so don’t think that!! Lady you are right you do have a lot of a lot of things, LOL! But you do need to purge the stuff you are never going to use. I used to have the "Get all of the things" syndrome. When I started cross stitching I went out and bought all the DMC floss colors. Back then there were not as many colors as now. But I have tried to never be that crafter again. Now I just buy what I think I will use. But there are some things of yours that I would like to have, or something just like it. Good luck on the cleaning journey.
I started using my enamel dots & I love them on projects. They add a little pop to the page & inside flowers or around the flowers.
Just finished watching your video, Tiffany. You certainly have quite a collection of supplies!! I was laughing when you said you weren't sure if you could get back up off the floor😂 Since we are moving, I destashed at our estate and garage sales and to Goodwill. However, I still have packed 25 boxes of craft room supplies with more to go....😮😮😮😮 Looking forward to more videos!!

You should get a printer/letterpress tray and hang it on the wall, then add all of your wood stamps. Would make great craft room "art".

I actually have an 8 1/2 x 11 plastic case (thin) where I store all of those things. I have the same issue with instructions! 😂

I can't wait to see your progress. I used to have a 12 x 14 room and when we moved almost 6 years ago, I got rid of half of what was in that room. I am now in probably a 12x12 room, but all my drawers are stuffed and I need to weed out even more! I used to own a Scrapbook store and when it closed in 2012, I went to work for Jillibean Soup! I have WAY too much! After I stopped working for Jillibean, I didn't buy anything new for several years but have started collecting again about two years ago. I am in the process of going through each drawer this year and clearing out even more!

I still have all my wood stamps and love them! I used to sell Stampin Up and love your stash, wish I could buy it all from you!!! LOL I could also use your Bees Wax....its to wax thread to sew in signatures! So you can include that in my package...!!!! Ok, now for my opinion.....you need to stop shopping my friend and start using! Seriously, your room overwhelms me with all that stuff, especially if you don't use it the sales become irrelevant right!!! I have a lot as well, but I use it, I never buy anything I won't use at some point and I need it organized all the time! I think you are brave to attack your stuff and de-stash, it's hard to do, good for you and I am rooting for you as your biggest fan! Remember, you asked!!! LOL. Did you want my address?
😂😂😂. The Bees Wax is killin me lol. And naw I love buying pretty things 😜. I always intend to use it all just didn’t and don’t always have the time 😉. I think tho this is the year to Destash and purge some of my goodies even tho I’d be fine with keeping it all 😂. Just need more space 💋

I was laughing cuz I have some of the same stuff you do….also not used 😂 here’s my problem…I bought an IKEA Kalax unit and before it got built purchased a bunch of 12x12 plastic boxes to hold the paper and sorted a bunch of it…I’m so upset they don’t fit in the cubes 😢 now what to do?

You’re right when you said the Michael drawers are stupid! You know the ones! Ridiculous!
I donate my extras to either the school, daycares or even girls scouts. It’s too much to try and sell this stuff as it would be a never ending project.

You should empty the supplies you wont use into a box while on video and price them all the same, first comment gets it. Just an idea IF you want to part with anything.
I’m not sure what I’m doing yet but I’ll definitely keep that in mind 😉

It seems you are wasting a lot of energy and time by looking through your drawers and saying, "I will never use this or that." and then putting those items back in the place. I'd get a box to have nearby and when you find those items take then out of the drawers and put them in the box. That will free up space that you can use as you go through other areas of the craft room. One item comes to mind. You said you have your enamel dots and such in several places. If you free up some of those drawers in the unit they are in, you could move all of your "bling" into that unit, and they would kind of be all together. Another idea, some of the items you said didn't belong where they were. Get a separate box and put those items in it so that when you come to those areas, you can then place then where they belong. Just my opinion.
I don’t disagree 😉 But right now I didn’t want to create more boxes. So my goal was to clean first then I’ll go section by section. Luckily I have time to go slow so all is good. I will definitely get my enamel dots in one spot just not sure which unit I want them to be in 😉
So are we cleaning and purging or just looking at stuff? I really am here to get help organizing. Dont know if that comes in future videos or not.

I was really intrigued by the start of your first video and thinking you were doing a series on purging and organizing so I watched a couple hours but felt I didn't learn anything. Sorry I was a little grumpy. Just seemed I wasted my time.

But I totally understand if it’s not helpful for you. There are so many great videos out right now so I’m sure that you can get some great ideas. 🥰
My husband calls my craft room his boat so if I go before him I guarantee he’s gonna hustle to sell off all my stash so he can get his boat. 🤣
