Thanks for posting these videos. I lost my two Border Collie brothers recently and seeing Bruce warms my heart. Camping videos have always helped me through things but seeing a Collie makes it that much more.

When watching I tell myself I have to be sure to tell you how much I liked something, then there is another thing then another! Brucie is such a SPECIAL dog and I know you know that, but I just love watching him as he runs around and in this one shows us his other more serious side. Those single shots of him are adorable! Love the rain...I was born and raised in the Seattle area...we get loads of rain. Just heard that May 2022 had the most rain in our history. Love it. Same with camping. Much rather be in the pouring rain than in the scorching sun. What a perfect spot you chose to pitch the tent. And Bruce under the fern leaves, priceless.

Buttering your bread and browning it in a dry frying pan enhances the flavor immeasurably adding so much to burgers, hot dogs, bacon sandwiches, Italian sausage sandwiches with sauted onions and bell peppers, etc. Think of the difference between a grilled cheese and a cheese sandwich on bread and butter that hasn't been fried. Or a patty melt on plain bread and butter or garlic bread on bread that hasn't been browned. Some people and restaurants call that toasted but it's actually frying it. 😋 yum. For me having a burger on bread and butter that hasn't been fried is like you having a cheeseburger without Coleman's English mustard. Although some buns or hardrolls may be good enough without being fried. In any case, love everything about your videos. Especially Bruce. Don't change a thing. Too bad Brucie can't be made to understand opossums only make that noise when they feel threatened. and they're actually really sweeties and where it's not illegal, people in the US have them for pets. Very interesting, beneficial creatures who unfortunately only live 2 to 4 years. And all 4 "paws" are actually hands with opposable thumbs, they can't get rabies and are immune to poisonous snake bites so while it doesn't matter in New Zealand the fact that they kill and eat snakes and rats and mice make people encourage them to live in their yards. There are videos of them sharing plates of food with raccoons and cats.Totally non aggressive. Unless,of course, you're a snake mouse or rat. LOL 😂
As always, i have enjoyed this trip. We love camping and will soon be going ourselves and i cant wait. We have new gear to test out too. 😀 It's always great to see how naturally you camp. We make cock ups too. Its so natural to do so. We will be having fun putting a new tent up but, it's the same brand as our others, just bigger! 😊😁
Rewatching this video too. Love the rain. I live in the western Washington state area, where we get plenty of rain and overcast skies. Wouldn't trade it for scorching hot days. My two cats love the rain they hear from your videos... sleeping through it. Ha ha! But this has become our nightly ritual - winding down after a busy day, and enjoying the calming, therapeutic sounds of rain and occasional bird chirping in the background. Great video, worth the rewatch 👍

Tony even though I have not attempted to You Tube while hiking/camping I agree it seems like it would be much more difficult. I find it difficult just trying to setup and video a few seconds just when trying to make a video with your phone to share with family and friends. I can't imagine what goes into filming a full length video that people would be interested in watching. You do this very well and we look forward to each new video of you and Bruce.
Very relaxing camp Tony. No real disasters (leaving your kettle doesn't count). Really like the tent and chair, looks comfortable. Simple tent, simple tart to get through the night, unlike many other who are basically packing their entire house with them. I like it a lot. Easy, practical.
Love your videos just like the other subs. Camp in the PNW so rain I can identify with. I’m picking up some great camping tips also. As an example I just picked up a couple of the high sided plates you use in your films. Really look forward to trying them out. I really like multi use camping items. Keep up the great work. The length of you video add realism to them unlike some of the other vids that are so edited that it’s hard to identify with the people involved. I feel like I almost know you, but of course I don’t, after seeing Bruce all the time, and seeing your wife and son a few times. Your videos are much more personal that a lot of the other out there. Old Golden Retriever crossed the rainbow bridge on Valentines Day. Our vet said she hid her pain very well and we didn’t see it. We did beat ourselves up for months. Our Amelia will welcome him. Elly

Too bad Brucie can't be made to understand opossums only make that noise when they feel threatened. and they're actually really sweeties and where it's not illegal, people in the US have them for pets. Very interesting, beneficial creatures who unfortunately only live 2 to 4 years. And all 4 "paws" are actually hands with opposable thumbs, they can't get rabies and are immune to poisonous snake bites so while it doesn't matter in New Zealand the fact that they kill and eat snakes and rats and mice make people encourage them to live in their yards. There are videos of them sharing plates of food with raccoons and cats.Totally non aggressive. Unless,of course, you're a snake mouse or rat. LOL 😂
Your opossum is very different natured to ours. Ours are aggressive.

As always, i have enjoyed this trip. We love camping and will soon be going ourselves and i cant wait. We have new gear to test out too. 😀 It's always great to see how naturally you camp. We make cock ups too. Its so natural to do so. We will be having fun putting a new tent up but, it's the same brand as our others, just bigger! 😊😁

Rewatching this video too. Love the rain. I live in the western Washington state area, where we get plenty of rain and overcast skies. Wouldn't trade it for scorching hot days. My two cats love the rain they hear from your videos... sleeping through it. Ha ha! But this has become our nightly ritual - winding down after a busy day, and enjoying the calming, therapeutic sounds of rain and occasional bird chirping in the background. Great video, worth the rewatch 👍

Tony even though I have not attempted to You Tube while hiking/camping I agree it seems like it would be much more difficult. I find it difficult just trying to setup and video a few seconds just when trying to make a video with your phone to share with family and friends. I can't imagine what goes into filming a full length video that people would be interested in watching. You do this very well and we look forward to each new video of you and Bruce.

Very relaxing camp Tony. No real disasters (leaving your kettle doesn't count). Really like the tent and chair, looks comfortable. Hi to Bruce, he's such a good boy. don't judge him for being scared, everyone is scared of something. By the way, Science Diet is a great diet for dogs, top notch.

Simple tent, simple tart to get through the night, unlike many other who are basically packing their entire house with them. I like it a lot. Easy, practical.
Love your videos just like the other subs. Camp in the PNW so rain I can identify with. I’m picking up some great camping tips also. As an example I just picked up a couple of the high sided plates you use in your films. Really look forward to trying them out. I really like multi use camping items. Keep up the great work. The length of you video add realism to them unlike some of the other vids that are so edited that it’s hard to identify with the people involved. I feel like I almost know you, but of course I don’t, after seeing Bruce all the time, and seeing your wife and son a few times. Your videos are much more personal that a lot of the other out there. I’m glad he prefaces all his videos with “there are no bears…etc” because I always worry about that when it comes to thinking of coming and watching people out camping. Also I love Bruce as well. I would probably feel a bit more secure if I had a dog like Bruce with me

I am so sorry. What the heck! Tears here too. What a lovely tribute to Bruno. It is sooo hard to lose a pet and camping buddy. Our 9 yr. Old Golden Retriever crossed the rainbow bridge on Valentines Day. Our vet said she hid her pain very well and we didn’t see it. We did beat ourselves up for months. Our Amelia will welcome him. Elly
