I bought an 440 g5 with an i5-8250u and it's getting very hot, even browsing seems too much for the laptop. Undervoltet it(-100 cpu&cache and -50 gpu) with intel ETU and it's better, about 50 C when browsing. Mine is without keyboard lightning, which anyway sucks, but it's good device for 365$ usd.

They have everything same inside from memory and graphic and processor and thinkpad is 70 euro more. So i wanted to ask is the lenovo worth the 70e more ? Best regards
Hi, you won't go wrong with either model. The only minor difference is the HP 440 has wireless ac 2x2 whereas the Lenovo e480 has wireless 1x1. With the UK Models, the Lenovo E480 pricing (£700) is £14 cheaper than the HP equivalent. The Lenovo model at £770 has the discrete AMD Radeon RX 550 2GB graphics which will help with your computer modeling calculations. - YL
If you are in the UK, the 2SY21EA#ABU is the nearest model that fits your spec. With expensive RAM prices, not many offer 16GB as standard anymore. If you can find this model, 2UB64EA#ABU it's on promo with great specs, i7-8550U, 8GB RAM and 512GB M.2 SSD. - YL

Yes it has a fingerprint sensor.

If you are working on 2D models, yes with as much memory as possible. 3D Models you need a dedicated GPU which the Intel UHD 620 GPU will not cope.
