Yep, just 80% of laptops have the same removal process, first the bezel, then the 4 screws and lastly, the screen connector. I've replaced about 3 laptop screen on a Dell, Acer and HP
You have to be a bit brutal getting the bezel off and notice the angel to get bottom attached bit off. That was the hard part. I know nothing and am hopefully halfway there

I believe you can. I have a430 G5 and it has 2 variants, 1366p and 1080p screens
