Sneaker waves & weeks of down pouring rain are quite common so from a traveling surfer's perspective we absolutely scored out here on the RV road trip! Ben wanted to stay but I told them to travel on! I wasn't sure how long i'd be there for so it only made sense for them to continue the trip! thank you for the prayers and good vibes! The nub nation is legendary for all the positivity!

Yo JP Bro!! I’m so sorry. I’ve lived and surfed (bodyboard) in Oregon all my life. I also have Crohns and have walk through those same ER doors up at OHSU multiple times. I believe I had a healing event and am now basically asymptomatic. I’ll be praying God radically and totally heals your guts too JP! ❤️
So sorry jp. I healed chronic ibs...ten years suffered. I take 4 dr mercola probiotics tabs daily. Off all .other med for two years now

As someone who also struggles w/ IBD (UC), I know how debilitating this disease can be both mentally and physically. Also going through a flare myself. Hang in there bruddah. Hoping for better days ahead!
My sister has crohn’s and has been “bagging it” after fighting it for a long time until it got to be too much. She had the intestine removed and an external pouch installed. She’s a 40 year survivor. All the best and prayers for JP.

I’ve always loved your ability to share life, Ben. Glad your enjoying the beauty of the PNW. Admittedly, I was a bit sad you left JP. It’s easy to feel like a burden in life. I’d imagine having a chronic disease like JP enhances that feeling. What a beautiful gift to stop what we deem important and stoop to lift each other. And especially in moments of weakness. After all, this is what makes being human so special. Love you, Ben.

That sucks buddy (JP). I was diagnosed at 9. 5 surgeries later I'm good to go! Surfing always helps appreciate feeling good. Hopefully you heal up soon.

I don't know who's doing the editing right now but I'm really liking the increased scenery and wildlife shots during the surf seshes in the recent vlogs.
Crohn's disease is intestinal TB and my son is going through it right now. If they treat it with antibiotics you get C. dificile enterocolitis
