Wine Trends you didn't expect for 2024!

Today for our first video of the new Year, I want to discuss interesting trends that are taking place in the wine world. Most commonly here we discuss general or academic wine knowledge, grapes, regions, winemaking etc. but every once in a while I like to talk with you about the wine industry as well to give you an insider’s perspective, and the start of 2024 seems like a good opportunity to do so. I hope you had wonderful end-of year celebrations in 2023, and I wish you all the best for the new year, health, friendship, love, and of course there will be some good wines too as you’re a club member, I’ll hint on you upcoming wine collections as well.

I think Spanish wine is on the rise, seems to be a lot of interest last year and not just from the traditional Rioja. I picked up a bottle from Priorat at the end of the year and have had a few bottles from Galicia.

Yes that seems true! There's so many good options in Spain - we've done a couple collections from there, and will likely go back this year.
