This video took me 3 months to edit and I was like 'Kurueru Kuruenai (can go insane, cannot go insane)' just like the lyrics xD

Hey,Misa if only you would explain less and make us hear r the song
お疲れ様でした
From what I understand anime is extremely rude/disrespectful and not good to learn Japanese
Thank you! And have a nice new years :)
Misa I am tokyo ghoul fan and was in the middle of translating it. Your explaining (esp the one about the word order) really helped me. BTW the best cover I saw: ruclips.net/video/Ttfs5YjsdzY/видео.html

@Reolz ahahahahahahah
I was no-joke wishing you’d make this video! I just watched this show and absolutely love this opening theme song.
Didn’t think I‘d watch all the way through the video but now I found myself at the end
Thanks for your videos, they are so incredibly informative
Once you read the Tokyo Ghoul manga, you'll realise how bad the anime adaptation is. The soundtrack is beautiful in the anime though.
Master Khan I just finished the second season and was loving it up until that last episode. Does the anime just leave out a ton of stuff?
I watched the first episode of Re and it seems like they partially bailed on the original story and left a ton of crap unanswered! I’ve never really been able to get into manga but I’m definitely thinking about grabbing a copy.
@@LukeParham the second season is very different from the manga and re is really rushed. It differs from the manga a lot imo. I'm not a huge manga reader but if you enjoy the premise, I'd recommend it.
So its like shyamalan's last airbender....the more you unravel it, the more you hate it
@@000xyz lol, exactly
They have skipped too many things in Anime...
Why are you shy about your singing? It's actually pretty good. いつかみさと一緒にカラオケに行きたい。
What does itsukamisato mean
@@frazzles4lyfe518 いつかみさと一緒にカラオケに行きたい。"I want to sing karaoke with misa (sensei) sometime'. In いつか みさ と (itsuka misa to), いつか means someday, sometime, みさ refers to misa sensei, と is a particle that means 'with' in this case.
@@justinseah9102 hm, doesn’t そのうち mean “someday” ? Or are they the same?
@@depressedteadepressoespres186
そのうち soon
いつか someday (far future)
そのうちあそぼうね。let's hang out soon
いつか会えると良いね。it would be nice if we could meet someday...
It‘s funny how i watched this 6 months ago and i didn’t understand anything and was overwhelmed by all the explanations, and now i can understand basically everything effortlessly after studying a lot and watching your videos 24/7
みさ先生、教えてくれてありがとう!☺️
This is amazing, thank you so so much for this excellent piece of work. I used to cry to Unravel without understanding its lyrics properly, but now I can cry even more.
Finally had a precise answer of the difference between "えかく" and "かく". It's the same but fancier xD
Thank you Misa ! You videos really help foreigners because you are pretty aware of the points we might have trouble with. You explain things in a manner that encompasses our lack of knowledge about cultural references.
Each time I asked a japanese friend about something, he/she replies "well, that's how we say it, I don't know 🤔" xD
Merry Christmas to you ! 🎄🎁
You are such a good teacher. Your ability to teach these nuances of your native language in what I assume is a second language is so impressive. I want to be that good of a teacher someday
みさ先生を作ってくれてありがとうございました! アンラベルは俺の一つのお気に入りの歌よ
Wow you are uploading a lot of videos recently😍😍 Thank you! And メリークリスマス ^_^
Your singing is great. And this is one of my favorite songs, so a grammar lesson and breakdown of it is just perfect. Thank you :)
You are seriously the best teacher ever. Thank you SO much!!! I can't imagine how long it takes to make these videos and I really really appreciate them! You rock!!!
Unravel is one of my favorite anime openings. Thank you for the video and Merry Christmas!
Thank you so, so much for taking the time to do this. I love watching these kinds of videos that you do! They’re really helpful and informative. Keep up the good work :^)
Dear Misa-san, if you haven’t received an autographed CD from TK by now, that means he never watched this video. Your voice is to die for.
Would be cool to see a video for a song: "Hacking to the gate" :)
El.Psy.Congroo
I love that song too. I've investigated the lyrics a bit myself, but it has a lot of uncommon vocabulary that are both advanced, and not applicable in most situations. You know, it has lots of lyrics that deal with fringe scientific and sci-fi topics.
Oh my gosh yess
yesssssssssssssssssssssss
Yeaa🔥
These kinds of videos explaining every word in the sentence are the bests!! Thank you so much Misa-sama!
It would be great if you could make some videos about short anime conversations and use the same method, explaining all words in the sentence.
You know, I loved GACKT-san's cover of the song. Now that you've broken down the lyrics and explained everything so clearly, it makes me like the song more. You're doing an amazing job! Keep it up! Arigatou gozaimasu!
I have learnt almost all my japanese vocabulary from songs ! This videos is such a jewel, thank you for taking so much time and explaining everything in details
Oh thank you I've been looking for the lyrics to this song written out in hiragana / kanji for awhile now before finally tripping over this video. To also have a full walkthrough of the lyrics and a breakdown on meanings and translations and this video is a dream come true on so many levels
Thank you so so much for this! I’m trying to learn Japanese on my own while having fun. I love this song so so much, u made my day with this 🥺🥺🥺
This is very useful. ありがとございます
Best explanation I have heard among all RUclips channels for an anime song
BEST JAPANESE TEACHER ON RUclips
Like always this is so informative :0 Even though I'm kind of an advanced learner, I still find a lot of useful stuff or revise the things that I already know. You literally answer my questions immediately after they arise lol, for example when I was wondering what the は in 傷つけたくはない meant. Also words that I do not know keeps on popping too so that's also helpful and I learn a lot of them. You're amazing Misa sensei ! Keep on rocking ~
That は emphasises the meanig of the sentence.
You have incredible patience! And your examples to explain the grammar are super useful--I appreciate that you take the time to explain nuance. Thank you for sharing this song and lesson with us!
This videos was so helpful!! Thank you so much for making this!! I really love your videos and I really appreciate your time! 💕
Thank you so much misa sensei, please make more videos like this.
It helped me learn lots of grammar easily. You are great
うそ! I can't believe you to are a fan of Tokyo Ghoul!!!
Thank you so much! Not only I want to learn Japanese, but I needed to have kana for certain part of this song and I wanted to make sure it's correct. Thank you!
This was amazing! I hope you make more "learn japanese trough songs" :D
It is such a good idea, thank you so much!
This is one of the content I was waiting for! I really love it, well done Misa, hopefully, we will have this kind of content weekly. :) keep it up!!
I love song lyrics and poetry. Thank you for this lesson! Very fun!
In this one hour I learned more about japanese language than in any other learn books. It's no surprise for me that Zen Buddhism found its place in japan. Every word has soo much meaning and the variety of how you can use those words make this language so beautiful. It reminds me of my native german language. Arigato. :)
This is incredibly useful and a great, fun way to learn more Japanese and practice the grammar we already know. I'm looking forward to more lessons like this. You're an awesome teacher!
I really learned a lot with this lesson. Thank you very much, みさ先生!
I'm almost done with the first season of the anime. I'm hooked. But I'm equally hooked on the opening theme. So, when I was going through your playlist and saw you had a video breaking the song down, I was like, "Yes!" Now I understand the song and show even more. You're videos are awesome. You're a really great teacher.
I recently got to know about this channel but ever since then I watch at least one video, all of them are really usually and I really enjoy your lesson...and enjoyed your singing....thanks a lot....
Omg i'm really learning Japanese much effectively now. After watching the video, I read the lyrics again without romaji this time and it helps my memory better. Thank you for this awesome tutorial!
Wow, it's amazing!
Learn japanese while learning song is the best thing in studying IMHO
Thanks a lot)))
Thank you so much for this ☺️ you put so much love into your video and I can tell!!
I am actually mind blown by this video I've listened to this song and I've studied the lyrics so many times and also studying Japanese at school but this video has taught me so many things (grammar points etc) I never knew still even though i did all that
also, love that favourite cover of yours I love it
Thank you for this huge work you did sensei!
Hi Misa, it's really nice that you are tanking the time to teach us Japanese :) arigato gosaimasu
I've seen the translation for unravel before and sort of understood it with my really basic level of japanese, but your detailed breakdown made me realise how much more there really was to it!!
Thank you so much, this is the kind of full translations I've always wished for :')
We love you Misa. Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you so much for this lesson, I learned a lot of new things. :D
Misa-sensei thank you so much for these lessons through songs, I love them! They teach me a lot especially about context! Thank you for your hard work! 💓
Late to the comment train but THANK YOU for doing the entire song and not just the segment used in the OP
Thanks for picking this song. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it. When I first heard the song I felt the emotions behind it, but after I found the lyrics I felt like I was understood by the writer and also relate to Kaneki. So I sing it whenever I can and cry along too. Haha
Thank you for breaking it down! Learning Japanese songs has helped me remmeber word and phrases and even structure.
Glad there's someone with this kind of teaching approach, I feel exciting and lot more fun, thank you!
Misa-san, I didn’t realize you had a Tokyo Ghoul video 😁. One of my all time favorites, helped get me through some tough times.
And then to see that it is about my favorite song from the series, besides kisetsu wa tsugitsugi shindeiku and glassy sky, makes me overjoyed.
I’ve always wanted to try translating the song but haven’t gotten around to it yet, trying to start back up on my nihongo.
Thanks for making the video!
I might not have seen Tokyo Ghoul, or heard Unravel more than a few times, but this video was so informative! Thank you so much for providing such quality content. I've learnt heaps just from this video, and I'm sure I will with the future ones to come.
:)
This video is awesome! The work you put into this is incredible, thank you!!
First time seeing this video, I really like the way u teach Japanese thru anime song, more interesting !
thet video was FREAKING AWESOME! Congrats from Brazil. Found your channel recently
Don’t be shy about your singing. Your voice is beautiful..... If you think that it’s bad then practice and it will become even better
i love how you color the words, and use the hiragana above the kanji, youve got a new subscriber ❤️
I really really liked it and this method of learning language. It's very fun:) Great job!👍🏻
Just came across your channel for the first time today and I'm just so glad I did! Keep up the good work, you're doing a splendid job explaining the grammar and vocabulary. I'm keen to pick up Japanese again and doing so by learning the lyrics of one of my favourite mangas' intro can only help. You've got yourself a new subscriber from London. Thank you Misa.
you don't know how much you helped me to learn Japanese in such a fun way....
Awesome, sensei. Here's hoping this learning through anime-songs becomes a regular.
Thank you a million 🥺🥺Your video is sooo helpful, you have done everything so thoroughly and with details, I really like it )))) You are amazing ))))Thank you so much ) I like your singing 🌸🌸🌸❤️❤️❤️
I've just seen the anime and I love its opening song. So, it's been super nice to learn japanese with it. Thanks for making this amazing video!!
thank you so much.... please make more content like this. i really love the way you speak
Your explanation is so good. It's really detailed and super interesting to listen to. I could understand perfectly what you meant, even though I haven't watch as many videos of yours as I wanted to watch. Will definitely do that soon.
It has to be so much work to put all of this together. Also you have a beautiful voice.
Please just keep doing what you do!
ありがとうございます!
love it love it love it.... As she was saying she collected manga and watched anime...
Thanks for this video
Shows your dedication
GEEZ I WAS NOT READY FOR YOUR VOICE TO GET THAT MUCH HIGHER
わーいすごい!!この曲が大好きだ😍そしてみさ先生は歌声が綺麗だよね😊ありがとう😊
I am learning Japanese these past months and one of the biggest help to my vocabulary is from learning the lyrics of my favorite Japanese songs which are mostly from anime OSTs. Unravel is one of them and upon understanding more of the lyrics, I tried listening to it again just now but I think I'm gonna cry,I kind of relate to the meaning of the song huhu. Thank you for doing this, can you also do a song from Aimer. TYSM!!!
I really like the way you teach will be here every time watching your videos
It's amazing you put this much time and effort into making these videos. So helpful and well explained, wow, I'm hugely thankful to you!
Oh my gosh, I've been trying to work out exactly how to translate this song properly for so long!!! Thank you Misa, you're amazing!!!
That is grate lessons and also it grate to be able to finally understand your favorite anime music!
Some of the most pleasant, interesting, well explained, and easy to absorb and retain study material that I have come across. 有難う。
2 Videos in one day? WELL that is a christmas miracle!!! (and even with my fav anime song)
OMG, it’s more difficult to understand Japanese “anime” songs than Japanese itself xD, nice video! Really great job. I understand almost 70% of all of it :)
Now I could understand better the lyrics and the anime ( that I’m gonna watch ! :P )
teaching technique and video quality also awesome
Thanks Misa. I just finished watching 4月は君の嘘 but I can't learn anything from those songs because they just make me want to cry. Haha. Your videos are much appreciated. ありがとうございます!
I can hear the og song behind yours 😳 so your cover so really good!!
I CLICKED THIS AND I AM SO HYPED, THANK YOUUUUUU
I spent 2 hours learning Unravel Grammar instead of studying for exam
Amazing video. Great lesson. And Misa-Sensei is a good singer.
1:41 Well I think your singing sounds a lot better than mine so I would actually enjoy having you teach me how to sing.
Like, please make an Unravel singing tutorial video with whatever voice techniques you might have.
Omg this amount of hardwork shes amazing
Your voice change when you start singing lol
You’re awesome thank you
These videos are very helpful and fun. Thanks for making them :)
I appreciate how much effort that you've put in this video. Thumbs up!
Thank u so much, this was really useful and helpful
ミサ先生! このれっそんがすばらしいんだ. Please do more like these when you can :)
I'm binging all the videos and it's so useful for all the little nuances.

Please do more of these I know they are difficult to make but I really enjoy them!
Thank you! I have to see the anime, and the idea of learning the language by song texts is great.
Best video for learning Japanese thank you 😊
YAS! Tokyo Ghoul is one of my faves! XD Thanks Misa! You're the best.
I'll come back to this video when I finish your grammar lessons! (your singing is pretty good btw you don't need to be shy about it ^^
