Tubs are the best for maintenance and they ll eat up anything def easier to operate thought length or material has to be smaller but most big clearing companies log the wood the log part or chip it.. The stumps and the top part of trees are usually the only thing that's ground.. So tubs are easier.. But for like brush and storm clean up and processing material fast that's not big def a horizontal.. But mulch quality you can't beat a tub.. So if your wealthy enough most guys have one of each. If your expanding into this or starting off a tub is the way to go..

So are the tub grinders better for smaller stuff an the horizontal can handle bigger longer logs ?
