Here we are given the cross product of two unit vectors and we proceed to find the angle between two vectors.
AP Calc, Calc I, Calc II and now Statics: The classes that you have helped me through.
P.S. I got a 5 on the AP calc exam, but my university adviser talked me into retaking Calc I.
Are you studying this in university?
Most people don't cover vectors until Calc 3 or Physics 1 where I'm from, but you might see some basic vector algebra like this.

why did you assume that the magnitudes for a&b are simply 1 ??

@@sebashemahlogonolo5042 If yore calculating the angle between two vectors the magnitude of them doesn’t matter, so you can assume it's a unit vector. Not all vectors are unit vectors though
The first line in the problem states “for unknown unit vectors a and b”. Unit vector magnitudes = 1.
