I love the videos! They are fun to watch and you can learn a lot. It’s been a pleasure learning and passing the time during the CV-19 watching Bruce a true craftsman at work. This fella can do it all from leather to bits to spurs you name it and can learn it right here! I sure appreciate it sir and to me this is what RUclips is for right here! Thanks again Bruce! Well done buddy and American Hero in my book!

Could you provide a material list on one of your videos? Im looking to start building spurs as a hobby and I'm not sure of what materials to get started with. Thank you for your interesting videos!!!

To save you a lot of time and trouble beginners run into I would recommend Outlaw Water Jet Design for bit and spur parts. Here's Matt's website www.outlawwaterjetdesign.com/

What kind of cutting torch do you use, Bruce? I’ve been cutting mine out with a band saw.

I use a lightweight Victor cutting torch rig I got at my local welding supply.

What size of round stock do you use for your rowel pins and your strap hangers? I have started making spurs out of farriers rasps and your videos have been a tremendous help! Thank you!!

I use 3/16 of an inch round cold rolled rod for rowel pins and hanger loops. Thanks for watching!

You stay away from hot rolled to keep cost down or is it much of a difference?
