I been up in New York for almost five months and haven’t been to the A since then. It’s crazy how much different the vibes are compared to the nyc subway. Lowkey miss it
The Blue and Green Line platforms at Five Points are at grade. The platforms at the station complex are much wider than at other stations because it was planned to be a cross platform interchange between all 4 lines with 8 tracks and 4 island platforms in the early plans.
I ride a bicycle to get somewhere faster only im limited currently and the hills are hell on me my legs are I'm trying to save and so on. We should have something similar here long time ago h
living in Atlanta in the 70's and 80's there was almost NO GRAFFITTI ( It's as if they got some HUGE GRANT) I am sure the individuals responsible would be considered Underprivileged..but they can spend money of PAINT to deface and vandalize property ...Oh well somebody will come along and say it's GREAT ART
If Atlanta is serious about supporting MARTA Rail, they should pass ordinances to keep garbage dumpsters and unsightly hodge-podge graffiti (sponsor real graffiti artists to replace with tasteful graffiti)... just change the ordinance to put those on the main street for automobile traffic to look at, and out of sight of MARTA Rail. And in areas with lots of scrub brush and wild pine saplings, replace those with a more appreciated trees, scrubs etc. Folks from around the world are going to be boarding at the Airport and using the Gold Line to Doraville (or Red Line to Indian Creek) to work with world caliber movie studios like Assembly Atlanta, Electric Owl and others. Locals too will appreciate some tender loving care with what passengers see and define as Atlanta, and MARTA. Make sure project-saboteurs and their bosses are fined for messing MARTA up and making it unsightly. The time is now for Atlanta to take pride in MARTA and welcome all classes aboard . . . and oh yeah, thank you for the Amazing Ride on MARTA video!!
Since I have been on the MTA New York City Subway before, it's exactly that for the MARTA Atlanta Subway as well. It seems that MARTA has copied New York, at least for the Downtown Atlanta portion of the North-South line. Five Points almost feels like Times Square 42nd Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal station complex.

That's a good question. I think they will since no new stations or lines are added at this moment.
