沒有直拍反打技術，直板已經處於技術落後。
直板反打出現給直板又延續了30年的輝煌。
現在2023年，隨著橫板擰拉技術的日臻成熟，發球不出台，已經不再是控制橫板進攻的法寶了。
當今的橫板反手比正手的威脅更大。
當然，對直板的威脅也更大了。
直板，包括反打，再一次處於下風。
而且直板已經沒有 新技術突破的空間了。
因此，直板面臨著被大面積淘汰的現狀。
現在就連最保守的直拍國家～韓國，自柳承敏退役后，年輕一代運動員都改成橫板了。
中國自許昕退役之後，直板選手也是鳳毛麟角了。
