However the best thing would be to tell them that if they want a piercing that they should ask you to take them to a professional. Piercings done outside of a professional piercing studio are at a bigger risk of infection. Not to mention that an unsterilized needle can transmit bloodborne illnesses. I'll let my kids have piercings, too! But I'll be damn mad if they do it with their friends in a school bathroom.

Tigerlily Rain it takes about 3 weeks to fully heal but the swelling & soreness goes away in like a week to a week and a half.
