What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18-year-olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game, or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

Most of these games weren’t even “classic.”the whole event is supposed to feel the 2000s era vibes. I know arsenal was created 2015 and bee swarm simulator was a nostalgic simulator but both of these game’s weren’t even made in 2000s. They could’ve use natural disaster or work at a pizza place and ETC

You should've talked about the experience of getting the admin cake, developer slice and content creator pie. It was so annoying trying to get those prizes because players would just stay in the server until the person launching the prizes left. Like even some admins,devs and creators said in their description to leave to give people a chance but that didn't do anything.
TBH, they should’ve just made it special collectables available in the Hub in general instead of admins, devs and star creators giving them out, I spent about 3 hrs to get the Star Creator Pie in a server where the star creator was AFK. Therefore, they couldn’t /kick all. What also makes it bad is that some Roblox Admins were server hopping meaning that I had to use 2 devices to see if the admin had left or not. Even though I got lucky on some cases, it was hell and I felt like I was missing out on a lot.

Exactly they should put a 2 minute timer in each server with a dev,admin and yt ….being #800 in line while ppl dancing and not leaving the game is frustrating

The way the fight worked was a nice call back to the og boss fights in roblox games but the lack of a reward for all of the work put into the garbage the other developers made was not worth it.. Only like 3 games were good, the rest were awful..
While dev hunts are the the best there’s an easy way to make it better. Regulate the games and make sure theirs an actual class instead of “play or game till x is done” or “repeat mindless task”. An easy way to do this is remove the clear cash grab simulators. Have the games make an actual task and give them time to make it. Keep the hunts time limit to complete it or a long time so that every player has a fair chance to complete it. Have the tasks have moderate difficulty. Make good worthwhile prizes and remove the bundles, limiteds, and paid pass. But alas this is only theoretical and will most likely never happen.
The fact that more than half of those “old Roblox was better!!” People weren’t even born at the time when old Roblox was actually a thing is just funny to me
I hated almost every single game in the classic, the only games I enjoyed were TDS, and bee swarm simulator. I did not enjoy any other game they were straight up garbage in my opinion.
I feel like most of the event was ruined because how greedy Roblox and some of the devs were (Livetopia and bladeball). It felt mostly pay to win

a while back, roblox had a blog concerning the feedback about future events (back when the hunt just ended) and they said people actually LIKED the dev hunt format and were gonna continue doing making dev hunt events, so before anything else happened...i kinda knew this event was just gonna flop and underwhelm
Roblox could have chosen actual clasic games that don't have much of a playerbase amymore to intrduce them to new people like superbomb survival, flee the facility, robloxian highschool, fashion famous or even extreme hide and seek. But Insted of doing that they chose front padge games that everybody has seen/played that aren't even a year old
another problem I havent seen circulating much is the complete lack of value I feel after getting the items, like they're cool and all but you often can find equally "cool" items on the UGC market because of the amazing moderation they have there.
ok, even though dusty trip was made a few months ago they still were imo the 2nd best if making a actually good and fun “classic” event. they used the classic killbots, made u actually still play the game normally but eith a bit more added.
As of me the launchers was the most hardest things in the whole event, all because I have joined later (2 days b4 it ended) and so many administrators werent even playing, not only that the queue was 5 hours long ir something. Even worse there was glitches that send u back to the start of queue at the end of queue. Also sometimes user would leave the experience, and so roblox wont even tell you that, so you would be late for the next queue and going to be really far down the queue. Terrible job done by deva with this one.
I dont think the hunt failed it actually was the third most fun i had with an event with rb battles being second and first for both seasons-
the classic was pretty mid though and did pretty much fail
I think the gold track should be free,we get the normal items with tix,and the gold track items with tokens(which is way warder than the tix,but should not take 1 hour)
i got all the items, i did it in under 2 days. however, the event still sucked. i did adopt me first to get its colours out of the way so my brain wouldnt rot later on. huge mistake. took me 8 am - 12 pm.
i know people hated the boss fight but i think why its like that fits the theme
It didn't really work for me since I wasn't in the in the classic Roblox era
I want them to try this again someday. They could make it better with all the feedback if they wanted to. I just want them to wait a few years before trying it again though
It’s an improvement, yes. But it’s still pretty bad. And honestly they should’ve given everyone that 100%ed the event a final reward similar to the metaverse valk except from a different item series

tbh i really liked the event though im not a calssic player (i joined 2017) it still felt like a huge step up from the hunt
This event could have been good if they got games that were not from the hunt event. It could have been better and have games like retro studio neutral disaster, survival then the event would have worked. And the roblox community would like it but with 2 events not being liked by the community roblox should actually listen to therm instead of making the hunt event over and over and over.

Is anyone going to talk about the hub quests why was everyone so focused on the dev hunt part of it this is why my friends said it sucked they never played the quests in the hub I mean the hub quests were actually better than a lot of the games
I woulda much preferred that instead of making new games older, Roblox would spend a bit of money to give old games huge updates, or they could be as simple as bloxy cola giving you a quick boost in work at a pizza place. Roblox fumbled the past by merging the future into it, there was never any hope.
It's sad how in all the promos that Roblox did, none of them had R6 avatars.

i dont like to think that these events failed in any regard, yeah they were bad but considering how the hunt was roblox testing the waters to see what was good or not, the classic was way better, the lobby was a lot more interactive, it was, in a way, less grindier and it only depended on the devs to make their part to be interesting
even if the classic did "fail", the fact that people pointed out what worked and what didnt is probably something roblox is gonna take into account for future events (hopefully)
I think the hunt was better then roblox classic because 3 of my fav games updated all in one day which are: Piggy, The Mimic and slap battles
They should have picked more passionate developers tbh

Roblox actually planned the classic before the hunt, so roblox wasn't really improving at all from the downgrade of the last event
You wording these videos wrong, the classic and the hunt are the most visited events in the history of roblox, they did not fail. Its more that roblox needs to improve future events as they're just.. pretty bad, I agree w/ all ur points.

Ofc, for RUclipsrs such as KreekCraft its an easy pie, but what about the players that are not only kids, but their time must've been limited and not everyone could enjoy the event in peace.
When event came out, I've been busy for some weeks.
Yes, we got 15 games not 100 games to complete, but the time was short and what we could do as F2P was 50% good and 50% fail.
And after the boss fight in the hub, it didn't reward players with nothing. Just credits.
The money hungry cancer, didn't leave the Roblox's mind ever. What a shame.

It did shit. Games. Barely any of them were classic, I assume they just looked at most popular and just popped those into the game. Some of the prizes weren't even free so you wasted your time just to get a 40k or 64k green sword. I would've liked if they forced people to make a new avatar like having it be a noob and you can change the color of it and get some free hats and t-shirts. If I had to choose some classic games I would choose Speed Run 4, Work at a Pizza Place, Survive Natural Disasters, 2 Player Wizard Tycoon, Lucky Block Battlegrounds, or even Classic: Crossroads!
They could have ATLEAST given a badge for beating 1x1x1x1

I think the classic was mid first of all why is there a Skibidi toilet game and the the fact that half the games take like 5 years to complete. The only good game that actually liked was a dusty trip. It was fun. But the best part about the event was the classic hub there was so much to do in it.
