So first I need to go buy a bag. Hubby will surely be pleased to hear this news:) I've been in a Big Happy Planner (8.5x11) for the past several years and whenever I've needed/wanted to drag it with me I use a tote. I'm ready for a different planner and have been looking at lots of rings. But first I need the right bag:)
Yes, the size becomes such a big factor. I was always buying bigger planners and then wouldn’t take it anywhere and then never had it when I needed it. It’s been an adjustment sizing down, but I get so much more use out of it now.

Another recommendation in determining sizes is print out test pages! I have a Kikki.K. cover that somehow looks wider than my other personal size, which I thought it was a personal wide. I went to Simple & Trendy Co's Etsy shop and she has a bunch of test pages. So I printed a personal wide and immediately found out my Kikki.K. is NOT a personal wide. Whew! Great and very helpful video! I would like to add that it can also be important to figure out which ring size you need. This also affects the overall width of the planner cover and therefore the portability and even the experience when writing in the planner. This was quite an important question for me and my decision for a custom ring planner by Van Der Spek 🙂

Great video! I strongly recommend the Gillio Compagna or its knockoff, the Moterm, for those who might want a full length pocket running along the back. It’s great for storing full size papers, folded in half.

WalMart in the USA has A6 ring binders (no inserts) for $13.00USD and A5 ring binders for $20.00USD. 💖🌞🌵😷
I could be wrong, but I think they sell “half-letter” size, not A5. Half-letter is the standard North American paper size, which is slightly different than A5, which is used internationally. Half-letter is 8.5”x5.5”, which is the size of a standard 8.5”x11” letter size page folded in half.
@@calisongbird, they have all three sizes plus more. I prefer half letter because letter size is standard in the USA and it's only 1 cut to get to half letter where it's 3 cuts to get to A5. I print my own inserts so half letter makes sense for me. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵😷

Hi rana! Not sure if this is a dumb question but Are planner wide sized sheets compatible with personal ring sized planners?

@@ranaplans ah yes! That’s what I meant. I did a little digging and noticed that there are personal wide planners… I’m just trying not to get too much bigger of a binder. This will be my first time trying out this system.
Cloth and paper taken my money and I bought $186 I have Called so many times. They didn’t care said I didt A refund and text so many times telling my. I wanted to planner has too the owner. I have so many doctors appointments and I forget cancer and 7 tumors. Two eye surgery all in the year I needed this planner no one cares so now I write it on paper in my house.can can someone please help me I don’t know where to start I threw away I trash the planner I’m so lost😭😭😭

Ring planners are gorgeous. But i cannot stand the rings themselves unfortunately. The rings get in the way of my handwriting and are a nusiance to me. Which is such a shame because I love the way they look 😭😭😭😭
Buy smaller rings. not more than 25mm . Also fully stack it .
