Wow, what a contrast from the places in the far north, milder and no snow to speak of. What do you do if you have only one piece of level ground on your islands? Turn it into a football pitch of course. The people of Lofoten clearly know how to get their priorities right. Another beautifully shot video. It looks like Ben is getting his kit off in the next one; I might give that one a miss. (Only joking.)
So lovely and you are right, a huge contrast to the north as far as the weather was concerned. The football pitch is crazy but looks great from a drone shot. I’m sure the people of Lofoten really appreciate it. Thank you for your really nice comments Peter and I promise he keeps his underpants on in the next one🤣
Should go to Værøy and Røst, the outer most islands. And should also go to Røros in February to the Rørosmartnan (festival) it in a old mining town that are still the same as mining was ongoing, a very old town.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately we were on a very tight schedule as we only had 11 weeks for this trip so we didn’t make it to those places. They are definitely on the list for our next time in Norway, along with lots more fabulous places that we missed. Thanks again for watching, Sarah and Ben.
@@diamondsontour Yes, its always something. My family have little hotelroms in their fishinghouse(?) and building a souna on the sea, and transport people to the famous Punj Sand beach, its on the top 30 beaches in the world
Fabulous video, with fantastic scenery.
That is very kind of you to say so Julie😉 x
There's not a single dull moment. 26 minutes packed with astonishing scenery and I'm loving it!
