    @Brain and Behavior Research Foundation
    . Fascinating. Thank you doctor. My thoughts go to Morgan Geyser, convicted as an adult for the Slenderman incident. 5/31/14
    Committed to an adult asylum for the criminally insane for 40 years at 12 years old. At Winnebago State secure mental facility in Wisconsin USA. Diagnosed with rare onset schizophrenia before the age of 12.
    I find that sentence extremely unjust. To be heavily medicated with dangerous psychosis medications and their side effects in a growing brain in a child that already has defect or disease living in a terrifying institution.
    A foundation such as yours and your insight would be appreciated to help this young girl.

    I am looking for info on children taking antipsychotics in either 1950's or 60s.....Did children as young as 8 take these medications? ....if so, did they also have parents bring their kids in for clinical trials for schizophrenia, to test for different medications. Thank you for your help.

    Sometimes someone with schizophrenia has a toxic narcissist mother and no other living family relatives in the country and wonders how to cope with understanding the mother is the cause of most periods of psychosis and thoughts of suicide, but to stop contact then causes overwhelming feelings of guilt and anger due to actions or choices the mother takes in response to beong denied contact. How can this cycle of living in and out of psychosis be realized or delt with before incurable damage occurs?

    These days some people are saying that all autoimmune conditions are caused by leaky gut and a number of things can cause the blood brain barrier to become more permeable too. They describe psychosis as being caused by inflammation. ..caused by leaky gut. Gluten may sometimes cause leaky gut. They say that healing these conditions with diet and cleansing the diet etc should help. The MTHFR Deficiency can reduce how effective detoxification should be . Avoidance of folic acid and regular B12 and the use of , methyl folate and methylcobalamine instead may assist methylation and so assist detoxification for people with these genetic mutations.Schizophrenia is in the MTHFR deficiency gene mutation list of common illnesses connected to the what is commonly known as MTHFR . When somebody has the right methyl foods etc.. it may be possible to turn off the gene..or assist detoxification from toxins, heavy metals, infection etc..Some doctors may not yet be aware of MTHFR But ancestry companies and other companies give people their MTHFR Status. Some companies may do more in depth MTHFR tests and results often using sputum.
