You're right, enchanting Purcell's music could never be more pleasing than if sung by Andreas.
Francisco Negrin deserves a laurel crown for directing this play, especially, what I liked best, for the Voglio amare part. They call this dramedy (at least when talking about Hollywood stuff), the coexistence of the dramatic and the comic perception of the same plot or the same event. And I love it!
Dear Andreas and all you guys out there, may I wish you a very happy New Year!
Composer and singer Andreas Scholl. He made it for the audidobook "der Kaiser und die Nachtigall" (= The emperor and the nightingale) in 2005 for the annivarsary of Hans Christian Andersen. This track is ´"Du kleiner lieblicher Goldvogel singe doch"
Go Andreas :)
Oh, it is very interesting to see you in other position than the singer! Greetings, Filip Holacky
das ist eine vollprofiarbeit! mit welchem programm wurde das gemacht? sicher nicht mit imovie?
I do not know if you ever read this - Andreas, you are absolutely the greatest of all! I go to your every London concert! Next concert is in March 2009 and I cannot wait to hear you again! I have got a question - you perform sometimes Purcell's arias - have you got any plans to record a cd dedicated to Purcell? Luv, Karolina
Thanks for sharing it.
I wish I could went. Too far. :'(
Meddafling...... Who's your dad? Is he a singer?
I envy you. But it's not a surprise at all if Christophe Dumaux sings really well...
@CinclusCinclus Do you know how to find that?
