Some time ago I received an envelope full of vintage cards and paper and other things from a person I had met on Instagram. I started opening the envelope and I cried the whole time. I don't know if it was the smell that reminded me of my grandmother's attic or knowing that that person had prepared all those things for me, but I continued to cry with emotion. So I understand you very well.
