    In the version I have read, they move across the Black Sea to the Danube, but I understand that this does not fit the narrative of the documentary.

      He's not american, and the he wouldn't know the local customs, thats why he has a guide. She should have known better and informed him.

      @@wizofoz0605 maybe should have checked WIKI first, he is an Aussie. Apologies for the mistake. But also dow under one does not -click- the glasses when bringing up a toast to a death person.

      @@benediktmorak4409 yep he is an aussie, like me. I don't blame him for not knowing the local customs any more than I would blame you for not knowing what a 'shout' is in an Aussie Pub. I would expect your local guide to help you out.
