  • Just north of present-day Polonnaruwa town, 140km (90 miles) north of Kandy, are the ruins of ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa, which date from the late 10th century.
    This was filmed in HD from my visit to Sri Lanka in April'10.

    nice video. But 0.25 is not Demala Maha Seya. Its called Kirivehera. (not to be mistaken for the one in the South)

    You have labelled Rankot Dagaba as Demala Maha Seya. Demala Maha Seya, is a quite a distance from their and its not infact meant as a racial term. Demahal or two storied. Its a mountian on earth with layer of bricks around it and the actuall small stupa is on the top. You can infact climb to the top.
