    Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventure on the Camino. We accomplished the Camino last year 2023 in Autumn which took us 39 days. I cannot believe the young woman who had completed her journey in 20 days, amazing feat. I look forward to seeing the second part. Loved the first video. My partner and I are returning next year to do The Portuguese Camino next year September 2025 Thank you for sharing ❤😊
    Buon Camino

      Thanks glad you liked it, yes they call it Camino magic & it happens quite regularly. Vlassia was determined to honor her parents no matter what, quite moving. I uploaded all the Camino in one video ruclips.net/video/UsPv9ICcP8g/видео.html . I also returned to Spain & completed a further five Caminos in April & May. Yes just like you when you do a Camino it's never enough. You can't help but repeat that experience over & over again, the Camino is that special, Buen Camino & enjoy the Camino Portugues I did that with my wife in 2019

    I have done seven Caminos in the past but the Camino Frances the most popular Camino was not one of them, find out why and why I did it in the extreme heat of August with temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius in only 26 days.Well I have just turned seventy and I want to inspire people of all ages to the joys of the Camino, there are no barriers and there are no reasons why anyone shouldn't do a Camino whether you are young or old.

      Hi, Mr. Carmona, very nice your vídeos about the Camino and quite impressive that it was done in 26 days, I would like to ask you about the long Marathon walking days, How much time It takes to walk 40 + kms, I assume with brakes for eat and drinks more than 10 plus hours. I'm from Brazil and Will Go in July, 2. I'm plannig mode now, thank for your attention.

      @@josesilveira2527 Thanks, looking at my diary there was a total of four 40+km days never done back to back. Always started early wake up at 5am start walking by 5.30am with a head torch, in the coolness of the morning it's easy to average about 6.5kms per hour by 7.30-8.00 you have less than 30kms which is a normal day and a normal start for most people. From then on it's roughly 7hrs so finishing between 2-3pm. There are plenty of villages to pick coffee, I normally had about 3 freshly squeezed orange juices and a couple of lemon Aquarius drinks to keep me hydrated, all the best with your planning Buen Camino

    Hola me encanto su video.. una pregunta, el clima es similar a Agosto a principios de junio y julio? Saludos

    • @JoeCarmona
      @JoeCarmona  Год назад +2

      Muchas gracias el verano siempre es caluroso pero mas en agosto, el camino Frances al estar al norte de la peninsula las temperaturas son menos que al sur. Si piensas hacer todo el Camino Frances entonces empezar a principios de Junio teniendo encuenta que La Meseta va a ser la zona donde va a hacer mas calor. Yo lo hize a proposito en Agosto con las temperaturas altas porque regreso a Espana en Marzo para hacer cuatro Caminos seguidos en plena primavera para comparar la diferente estacion, buen camino
