This is actually very sad, I felt her pain when she said that she and her boyfriend have been dating for 8 years, and yet when Steve asked whether her boyfriend is in love with her, she had no answer. The problem is we women feel lonely when we are single, and then we jump into a relationship and think it's the best thing ever when it's still early days and the other person is still "putting their best foot forward." As time goes on, the other person reveals who they really are, and by then we've invested so much time, energy, and emotion into the relationship, that it seems impossible or too painful to walk away.
My advice to women in this situation is the same as Steve Harvey just walk off no matter what energy or time invested as long as you notice that the man isn't in love with you walk off and be happy, cuz if not you will continue living an unhappy life for the rest of your days. Remember life is too short to live unhappily thank you.

She said, "Umm..." and Steve interrupted before she could finish her sentence. If they had been dating for 8 years, she would have answered the question yes (about being in love).
we dont know anything of what happen between this woman and guy. so the assume anything else besides what she sais i find alittle unreasonable. like why would she say something that was not correct? if she cant answer how much she is in love with this guy after 8 years. there may be good reasons for that besides for short periods of dating time. so i would not go so far as to say Steve was wrong here. because there are many people who date today and their relationship has nothing to do with love or romance, but more of how that relationship benefits both parts.
