Silverfire Survivor ( & rocket stoves generally) are great for cooking but less exciting for lovers of fire for the sake of fire, since the fire is out of sight -
with this little trick you have yourself a smokeless, clean, efficient, safe, no clean-up, entertaining fire / firepit for those evenings where the internet is all nonsense and you need to connect with nature ;)
if I was a little quiet the lid is a small galvanised incinerator lid, upturned with a few holes added for hot air. hrs of fire yield a palm full of ash !

Hey thanks, about 28-30 cm or 1ft, larger ones can work too as long as middle hole fits in stove chimney, shoudntt be a prob + with some vent holes.
