- Jacelyn shows us around her $725-a-month apartment in Nafplio, Greece. It came fully furnished, with appliances, and you need to check out the view. Wow!
Ever wonder how much your groceries would cost living overseas? In Nafplio, $10 buys you enough fresh produce for a week. Check out the episode to see what Jacelyn buys at her local market for $10.
Since Greece is home to one of the world’s Blue Zones, wellness is a huge part of the local way of life. People that live in Blue zones live longer thanks to fresh food, a closeness to nature, and a connection to the mountains and the sea. To give you a sense of what type of wellness experiences you can enjoy in Nafplio, Jacelyn shows you around Aeifaron, an eco-community she is part of in this video.

Sit back, relax, and let Jacelyn be your guide to this friendly, beachy, walkable place on the Ionian Sea called Greece’s most romantic town. Whether you're looking for a change of pace, retirement options, or just some inspiration, this Greece mini-series is not to be missed.
Thanks for watching! (Note: While we are heartsick to learn of the fires on Greece’s islands of Rhodes and Corfu, rest assured, neither is close to Nafplio.)

What a lovely home - that view is everything! You mentioned that you are there part-time, in tandem with Costa Rica. If I may ask, do you pay for your apartment year-round as a home base or for shorter periods (by the month or for a season)? I'm trying to figure out the best way to divide my time between two countries without having to buy property just yet, or continually rent Airbnb's each stay.
I wonder what percentage of people speak English here? I know it's always good to learn some of the language of the place you visit or live. 🍋🌞 That outdoor living space you have is really nice.
So many speak English! Its wonderful. I do learn as I go and its respectful to approach people in their own mother language. After all, resident or visa holder, we are still guests in anothers homeland....
I visited Nafplio for a few days last year after a week of sailing. I can very much see myself living in Nafplio. After the first day, I started looking up real estate prices! Lol I'll be back for sure!
Your apartment is amazing. Awesome video. Just curious as to what Retreats do you do? Cheers
Great video! Informative, Nafplio is beautiful. I was wondering, is the internet fast there, can I stream video? Thank you kindly :)
wow...$725 rent!!! what do utilities, food & transportation run you mthly!?!? [what happened to that Night view from the balcony?]
our Tour was there 2-days in May...lovely place!!!
What did you like most about it in May? Utilities run a few hundred dollars and then there was the cost of the real-estate agent and my lawyer/accountant. Food as mentioned runs me (single person) 10-15 euros for fresh produce, then a weekly shop at the supermarket runs about 20 euros and my transportation is buses, taxis and rental cars which run about 20 a week unless i rent a car that can be 40 a week to 40 a day depending on the season.
@@musicbyjacelyn it was the beauty of Greece that surprised me. i knew the Aegean Sea port town would be picturesque...but the mountain towns an scenery was far more beautiful than I thought. Also loved the LOW prices for food and drink...and the accommodating nature of the people. Our 12-days (17 of us total in 2 nice vans) more academic than touristy...was Wonderful! STILL waiting on that night view of the town/fort all lit us from your balcony! ;-)
Well l live on a Greek island and groceries are 130 euro per week
can you please share the rent manager contacts or sites that u used, as me and my family are going to stay at Greece, so we would need someone who speak english :) thank you!
