    Thanks for watching and listening to my video. If you like old school metal riffs and don't mind an old school guy playing them, please feel free to subscribe to my channel. Otherwise, something as easy as liking this a video helps out a lot. Who doesn't love a 👍?!
    Have yourself an awesome day either way.

    Mate this is awesome! Love the harmonics in the first second and then the amazing melody in the 2nd section! Sounds great! Reminds me of some old Smashing Pumkins! Well done 🤘🎸🤘

      Thanks mate. Maybe it’s the single coils as well that add to that SP vibe. I’ll always be a metal head, but I did love the Siamese Dream guitar tones.

    Nice work Jason, definitely reminds me of some SoundGarden. 3 layered guitar tracks? How did you pan those? 🤘

    • @guitarfascination
      @guitarfascination  Год назад +1

      Thanks Chris. There are actually five guitar layers on this one. Four rhythm and one lead. Lead is centred. Two rhythm are panned fully left and right. The remaining two are panned about 60%. I also apply stereo widening to the rhythm tracks (120% for the 60% pan and 150% for the hard left/right pan). Trying to create a wall of sound.

      @@guitarfascination You’re welcome. That’s interesting. It has a nice mix to it. A while back I was doing that and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted probably because I was doing something wrong. I had a lot of distortion on the tracks and what not, but yours sound pretty darn good🤘

    Dude, this was a really great one, had some tasty prog vibes woven in, you need to explore that more 🤘🤘I was sure you had to have a strat somewhere in your collection lol and you haven't swapped the bridge for a humbucker yet either, you have more will power than me 😆

    • @guitarfascination
      @guitarfascination  Год назад +1

      Thanks so much mate. I might try a similar approach with SWOLA156. I love the Strat. The perfect Strat for me would have a fixed bridge and a hum bucker in the bridge position 🙂
