Undoubtedly, AB does not want any form of a golden parachute given to her to leak out and make things even worse, if that is even possible at this point. Thus she will continue to be paid for doing nothing until they reach a mutually agreed upon amount, whereupon she will "resign."

I watched a young Conservative influencer talk about this right after the storm on Bud Light kicked off. He made it clear he wasn't going to stop talking about it until Bud apologised to people like him. Thats all he wanted but Bud doubled down. Here is the real kicker. His message was strong. Stop buying it until they apologise, or they go bankrupt. First time conservative men with little power had a chance to act together and take a bite out of the woke agenda. Bud is now suffering in their other beer brands too.

I graduated from college in 2004 with a degree in Communications majoring in Advertising and a minor in Marketing.
What Bud Light has done for the entire process of this ad campaign should be taught as a case study for anyone in college for Marketing/Advertising.
The reason is THIS specific Bud Light ad campaign disaster is 100% different than any other ad campaign by any other company in the history of advertising is that because what has happened to their brand is not simply a lot of people boycotting....
There are many people who dont care about anything of what happened and they are perfectly fine with buying Bud Light EXCEPT FOR ONE LARGE PROBLEM...
They care about what it means when they are actually seen in public drinking a Bud Light.
And in a nutshell, that embarrassment is what will prevent folks who normally would still buy Bud Light from choosing to not buy it.
And THAT reason is a HUGE BIG DEAL.

It would be a really abrupt swing for them to go woke, especially when their business has to be booming as a result of so many other beers going woke. Coors celebrates pride month, Michelob, Becks and others are under Transheiser Busch and Miller Lite sold out too.

NO COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISE, SOCIAL GROUP, OR GOVERNMENT AGENCY WILL EVER dictate to me how I am supposed to live my life. I used to think of myself a fiscally conservative and socially a little to the left of center, but beginning with the post-election riots in 2016, the brazen and irrational behavior of “progressives” have made a staunch and bitter enemy of me. In my mind, “get woke, go broke” is a slogan with deep meaning, and my behavior has changed accordingly. All I can say is don’t play that stupid game in my neighborhood. A lesson in price elasticity to "marketers" out there working for big brands. Most heavy AB drinkers are drinking Busch in bulk or their craft portfolio they've built the last 15-20 years. Bud Light sales halted but it hasn't seemed like Busch has slowed down much. I don't think it will be as big of an impact as we think.

It's not so curious. If you can raise price without spending any money, that's Nirvanna. As Ben and Jerry's briefly showed. The problem is that "fake" value - just espousing a "popular" belief that costs you nothing - is even more vulnerable than it is valuable. What's more,, it is easier to tear down than to build up. The psych people tell us that the "fun" value from tearing down x points is tha same as the "fun" value of building up x points. Even though building up takes real work - and tearing down does not. (Someone once said there is a 10:1 difference in effort per point.) This is a foundation of sports commentary (as it has ALWAYS been in politics). The "efficient" route to ratings is tearing down, not building up. Which is why positive oriented shows are so few, and so remarkable when they succeed. Here is where the "religious" values of the NFL (as a best practice example) are essential to its success. You must aggressively shoot the heretics to protect the positive spin of virtue, which takes a lot of hard work to create. Sadly, in the middle school psyche of social media, few practitioners ever mature before they commit influencer suicide. Influencer suicide is an event in which all of their competing influencers are only too happy to assist. It's easy, remember? Rising on merit is hard, and who has time for that?

There is an easy way to end corporate support of charities, or at least curtail it significantly, end the IRS regulation that allows for donations by corporations to be tax deductible. I agree with Warren Buffet who said (and I'm paraphrasing), "A corporation should not support charitable causes. A corporation should return as much profit as possible to their shareholders, allowing the individual shareholder to donate that return to whatever charity that represents their beliefs (if they wish to) ."

Target lost me.... I don't want politics or ideology in my shopping at a store like that. Give me good products and shopping experience (clean and safe) with great choices, I'll be there. Ask me to choose my political opinions or have to avoid discussions with young children about things they aren't ready to discuss, see ya'. As a person in Sales, this makes me ponder who these large companies are hiring. If you need to stand for something, pick something all consumers like. Otherwise, run the real numbers and except the outcome.

I am a straight male. I recently drank a can of Bud Light while I was watching a Nascar race. My granny was sitting in a chair knitting a sweater. After I finished my beer,I developed an urge to join my granny,to assist her in knitting. I turned the tv off & drank another Bud Light. As we were knitting together,I asked her, if I could try on some of her clothing. She said that I looked real cute and that the sweater she was knitting was meant for my sister, she felt that,a pink & yellow sweater would look lovely on me instead.

I cannot speak up as I need to graduate with good grades as I have taken on student loans, but it is concerning and I would like for awareness to be raised. Does anyone know how I could go about doing this?

It is called backlash. Change cannot be pushed against people values. I am homosexual, but to me is a private question, my intimacy, my own sphere. I hate all that stuff around lgtbiplus agenda, gay pride, or gay activism, cuz all that stuff is just a HUGE BUSINESS. Not is about homosexual people health, or homosexual people happiness, or homosexual people success in life, it never was, isn´t and not will be.

Oh dear! I just discovered that my local public library has taken our tax dollars, and to celebrate Gay Pride Month, they've bought books and e-books celebrating trans-genderism for children. Little Timmy and Susie will learn now about the fourteen or more different 'genders' which are out there. If kids and teens aren't confused enough by the behaviour of their elders and their betters, now we will have indoctrination in our schools and public libraries!
