    Thanks for the memories you’ve shared here. It appears we’ve walked some of the same paths in life. Some of the same in this video long before I had a RUclips channel as well and also after. I have a couple of videos out. 2 of the train and another on the same section of the CDT you are on here. I love this area of the southeast San Juans.✌️

      Yeah, I was excited when I met you at the backpack meetup when I realized we spent time in the same areas. It's not often I've personally run across anyone who has experience in that part of Colorado. I wish I had videos of much more of what I've done up there. Merry Christmas Jerry ✌

      Don, I'm wanting to say 15 or so. I'm not exactly sure anymore. Sadly much of this area has been destroyed by Bark Beetles. It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful (and favorite) place in such condition. Michelle and I were back up there 5 years ago and many of the other trails were closed because of danger from falling dead trees. 😔
