  • The Baltimore Ravens took AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals to its toes, with both teams going back and forth until DE Sam Hubbard scored off a 98-yard fumble recovery touchdown after Tyler Huntley lost the ball at the one-yard line to seal the victory. Lamar Jackson notably did not travel with the team. The Bengals will face the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round. Emmanuel Acho, Joy Taylor, LeSean McCoy and David Helman share their takeaways from the Ravens loss.

This game showed that in the 5 years lamar has been there the ravens haven't grown at all. This is the 4th time they lost because when they needed to throw they couldn't. Before the consensus was lamar needs to be better, but now its clear he was being set up for failure. Things need to change and if lamar has to leave for it to happen so be it, I'm sure he'll be successful wherever he goes.

Let’s not forget the Bengals had three starters on their offensive line out for this game against the Ravens. They was without La’el Collins their RT,without Alex Cappa the RG,and without Jonah Williams the LT for three quarters of the game. If the Bengals went into this game with a fully healthy offensive line they would have probably won the game by at least 10 points and maybe even more. I think Joy WAS watching a different game 🤯. I usually appreciate her commentary, but the Bengals were gifted points on 2 turnovers. The Ravens didn't lose because the Bengals were dominant. They lost due to 2 turnovers (one EGREGIOUS), horrible situational play-calling (abandoning Dobbins in the RedZone and opting for a QB sneak from 1.5 yds... Snoop didn't even get close, btw), poor clock-management in the final drive (they weren't getting the plays off quick enough and they were huddling around the one minute mark with ALL THREE TIMEOUTS still). No one expected for the Ravens to have a chance to win this one. Not a soul picked them. Not even Ravens fans. And yet, when they were on the 2 yd line (just before the stupid QB sneak fumble), everyone watching thought they were about to pull off the unimaginable. Everyone. So stop it with that mess. You know what I got from this game? Bengals better get it together if they want to make it back to the SB. Because they almost got knocked out by a team lead by QB2. They should probably concentrate a little more on the product they put on the field moving forward and a little less on running their mouths like they've never been here before.

On turnover 2, Roman called a QB sneak from way too far away, Huntley holds the ball out over the pile about half a yard away from the plane for it to get smacked out of his hands (poor ball security), and returned by the Bengals for a TD. The years of winning in the playoffs with defense are gone. The ravens need a QB. Now I'm not convinced Lamar is that dude come playoff time, but at the same time, he doesn't have a lot of help. But let's be honest, Mark Andrews and Sammy Watkins are good enough. That's more help than other QBs get. The ravens flubbed this season before the season started for not getting his contract done. That’s the point of football, sometimes the offense is clicking to make up for the defense, sometimes the opposite. Hard to be carried to nine straight wins, why you care anyway. We get to watch joe, josh and Patrick in the playoffs. Look at joes stats against the chiefs 9-1 td ratio like 363 yards per game, just enjoy the game. You can like multiple qbs, josh is my second favorites and I don’t dislike Patrick just the e media dissing josh and joe when their stats are just below him. Joe is 1-2 in every qb stat, Patrick is the mvp this year but these clowns act like the gap is the grand canyon and they’re ignorant just love hearing the sound of their own voice like acho.

Ravens didn't score a defensive TD all season and still was elite after adding Roquan and see young defensive players step up. We had injuries on defense too like CB Kyle Fuller tearing his ACL in Week 1 and Michael Pierce tearing his biceps in Week 3. This defense actually could've been even better. The three OLBs we lost. One tragically passed away, Jaylon Ferguson and the two that tore their Achilles or ACL: Vincent Beigel and Steven Means. But I digress. This defense could win with a lesser QB than Lamar.
