It's a slide Dobro. (Acoustic steel guitar) i played them for years. Both the square neck and the round neck, I also bought a bass just before my accident.
Wow, I can't believe you found this and actually reacted to it! I've laughed at this and shared it for years, but it's pretty obscure. Good on you for getting into some of the weeds!
Oh my gosh, do I remember this when I was young but had forgotten about it. Since this is classic Country, you would really like She's Acting Single by Gary Stewart or Hello Country Bumpkin by Cal Smith. This is just the introduction to Country of that era. Does it make you feel happy that you play something of my generation and we love it? Thank you for reacting to Tompall And The Glaser Brothers.
I always loved this song and a few others in a simpler category - like It's Hard to be Humble by Mac Davis ... I guess I guess like a good tongue in cheek song
Just found your channel and am loving it. Haven't been through all your videos, but if you haven't already, you NEED to listen to E.L.O, specifically their song "Mr. Blue Sky" 🙏 Also, the Doobie Brothers. 🙏
Hello :) 1. Westlife - Flying without wings (for the last time) live 2. Westlife - safe (farewell toyr) live 3. Westlife - When you're looking like that (arena O2) live Please❤️🔥⚡️🫠
Heh, it's kind of nice to hear how even Americans are unsure how to pronounce names! Very often I wish you could have also followed the advise of your national icon, Benjamin Franklin, and just removed that silly 'c'... Oh, well, but with even a bit more "sound" logic applied to spelling, US English would have totally dominated UK English today in the wider world... Is this one from the original "Outlaws" record that made Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson household names as outlaws eventually? Well, I still love it! It's sort of like listening to Unknown Hinson: You can laugh at it as long as you understand that it's not serious. Today's younger generation would probably sue anyone for playing this gem!

Shel Silverstein is an American treasure. Poet. Writer. Lyricist. Narrator. Manipulator of verbiage. Master of a lost art.
I always loved this song and a few others in a simpler category - like It's Hard to be Humble by Mac Davis ... I guess I guess like a good tongue in cheek song

On a more serious note, I really like the Glaser Brothers' cover of "Loving Her Was Easier than Anything I'll Ever Do Again."
The Muppets did a version of this as well.
