Yes, so to say a kind of "old school existence" entertainment "live stream" from ourselves, from the future.

I agree, it would be much better than imax too. But these goons won't want to spend money on it. Do you agree to pay for a ticket to watch the micro led screen?

Finally something to move past LED backlighting (OLED isn't feasible, it's been 10 years and the improvements made are negligible).

Pretty sure he was more speaking on the fact that's it been that long and it A: hasn't been adopted as standard, B: Really hasn't come down in price by all that much and C: Still has issues that have not been rectified.

@@Prettytony0627 it truly is, I'm always in awe by the pic and silky smooth motion. I might be in the minority but I like that mild soap opera effect. I don't think I can ever go back to anything else unless it'a a new tech that has all the advantages of oled tech minus the burn-in...LOL!!

To give some realistic pricing: Expect a 4K setup, consisting of 72 panels, coming in at about $400,000 or more. That may not include the video feed, processing, spare panels, or anything else. Could easily run $500K for a fully installed 4K setup. Then it would still be smaller than my $1,000 projector setup on a 161" screen. So, it is amazing, but a home setup can be pretty impressive for a lot less. Really, you can have the home theater setup AND the home for less.

I am curious, ..can you do a demo of your home theater setup please? Maybe also what you need to have the setup. Thanks!

I have several photos here of the projector. Many with some lights on. Front projection should be considered similar to what you experience in a movie theater. There are a TON of lousy projectors on Amazon and eBay not to be confused with quality projectors from companies like Epson, Optoma, BenQ, Sony, JVC, and others. Quality is often better than your local movie theater. That is not a joke. Ask anyone who buys a decent entry level projector like the BenQ HT2050 how it compares to their local movie theater and except for IMAX, you can get results that easily match your theater.
      My setup: www.avsforum.com/forum/68-digital-projectors-under-3-000-usd-msrp/1720730-w1070-lights-161-screen.html
Keep in mind my room is lousy as it's just an unfinished basement.
I use the older BenQ W1070 projector which has been updated by BenQ to the HT2050. There are lots of other choices out there as well. The BenQ HT1070 is $500 over at Newegg and compares similarly to my W1070.
Add a screen from Amazon - Silver Ticket screens 133" for $330.
      www.amazon.com/STR-169120-Silver-Ticket-120-Diagonal/dp/B00DGW15NU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1515432388&sr=8-4&keywords=silver%2Bticket%2B120%2Bscreen&th=1
Then a decent ceiling projector mount $65:
      www.amazon.com/dp/B01B1JFLV6?aaxitk=DUk2Gj0c3sIpciDOyMNGnw&pd_rd_i=B01B8HIEVA&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3365067662&pd_rd_wg=08gxq&pf_rd_r=1Y6KCAR5YRNNDT8ZV7QP&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_w=mdkXV&pf_rd_i=qual%2Bgear%2Buniversal%2Bprojector%2Bmount&pd_rd_r=ebea7a06-cbbe-48d4-9d06-9d8034398f67&hsa_cr_id=3819585730301&th=1
You will need some sort of audio setup, which can run from a few hundred bucks to thousands of dollars. You could just use computer speakers or a full surround sound setup. A speaker bar is a lousy choice over a good set of stereo speakers. www.accessories4less.com has some great options for full setups.
So, with a basic speaker setup, it's right about $1,000 for a 133" screen setup that looks as good as your local theater, or perhaps better.
AVS Forum, as linked above, has a ton of people that are very happy to help newbies out with purchasing the right gear and making informed decisions. The A/V market for home use is full of a ton people who own gear and love to talk about it as a hobby. Don't buy anything without first doing a bit of homework on the quality of what you are getting and if the price is right. White van scams are all over the place, and cheap unheard of products with zero support abound. So, the buyer does need to be cautious. I recommend sticking only with major brands with solid US based support.

Unless you are rich or lucky to have a huge home, so no...Not until the home industry gets revolutionized too. That is one thing that no one in the tech world has yet to solve.
