How does it compare to the ZD9 by just looking at it thanks and does it have 3D thank? If it has 3D I will buy it if it doesn't I am going to get the LG e6 I have a lot of 3D movies just wanted to long to get a 3D tv because I did not like the ones that were out but the E6 is very good on 3D I hear thanks for your time!
Novocrine current issues are. The screen has brightness fluctuations. The uniformity differs in all panels. Yellow tint in white background. Near black uniformity is a mess Vignetting. Motion Banding near black Colour accuracy out of box is terrible Lg processing upscaling is poor
Marion Knight if thats the case then sony will have issues too then... being these tv's use lg panels lmao. Maybe im just lucky then as my lg c6 is perfect.
Wonder what LG OLED Sony is using. Is it made for them specifically or just a regular LG OLED with their own upgrades. Just curious to see if Sonys tech, which is always top notch, make it a better OLED than LG themselves. 🤔
Is there any word on if this television will have a severe image retention and burn in problem like the LG OLED sets? I decided not to get an OLED because of this problem; however I may buy a Sony OLED if they have fixed it. (As long as it isn't too expensive which is asking a lot from Sony)
I hope one day Sony will release an OLED range with a standard design like LG's own b7/c7 at a cheaper price point, without any other sacrifices. Lovely design as it is, unless this time next year it's considerably come down in price i.e from £3.5k to 2K or less, it's alot of money to pay out. Considering LG's B6 and likely B7 will come down to 1/2 price this time next year..
Thank God, 3D is nothing but a gimmick. My suggestion is for the movie studios to start making better movies with better scripts and better acting, instead of trying to cover up their crappy movies with 3D affects.
I like 3D but I'd prefer to have a TV capable of switching from 3D to OLED but I doubt that technology will come. I don't mean a 3D TV capable of playing non 3D content because that's what we've had and the non 3D was compromised imo. I want something capable of doing both very well but it would only be worth it if most TV and movies filmed in both, too.
+dvdmike007 QLED right now is still under oled by a tiny bit. By next year with self emissive QLED or true QLED then it will beat OLED bc of all brightness and color saturation. Sony most likely got their pants from LG or some japanese company, but Sony did upgrade and tweak them. So essentially they will probably be the best Oled tv out right now.
UltraGoldCoin QLED will no longer last. CLEDIS (Crystal LED Integrated Structure) will be the future of TV technology, and LG will be the biggest loser in the game because they kept focusing on producing OLED panels, which is expensive to manufacture, and will easily be outclassed by Sony's own technology. OLED has no benefits over the CLEDIS because CLEDIS is a combination of the strength of LEDs and OLEDs and removing their major drawbacks at the same time
no speaker but they stick a huge ass stand in the back, that's a big fail right there and uses the whole screen as speaker, i wonder how the picture will look if you pump up the volume after all the screen vibration that it get's, i guess not so good, Sony you didn't get this right sorry.

Haha - you can hear how Steve is happy like a school boy about this TV. It's all good cuz I am to. I can't wait for the reviews on this. ;)
What a beautiful piece of tecnology can't wait to see how much will cost the 49" version
Sony are the only people to start fixing the issues current OLEDs have
dvdmike007 lets hope sony fix the issues that LG have failed to fix since 2013 very first oled.

Marion Knight not true. I have noticed none of these issues AT ALL with my lg 65 c6.
NickTheGeek its a inherent problem within the lg panels.
Marion Knight if thats the case then sony will have issues too then... being these tv's use lg panels lmao.

Very thorough and professional content well done lads

Angel Gonzalez the fact they mentioned fixing the megenta issues already speaks volumes
dvdmike007 magenta issues were with oleds 2 gens ago.

Already have DV, HDR+ ect in my X950H so I am good for 2021.
I ended up picking up a C6 at £1599 yesterday as this is £3k+ i hope to see this T.V in the future at a cheaper price.
Ah, the promise of HLG....they say to be added in a future update but I'd hazard a guess that won't arrive at all. It will however on 2018's TV's!
hope they do one with an actual normal stand?
We wish and need so so so much SUPER OLED 16K resolution technology for TV , CAMERA , DISPLAY SCREEN SMART MOBILE , soon please
Breathtaking. I wish Sony would adopt an external box similar to LG to let this television truly be wall paper thin.

just tell me the input lag in this tv I'm holding myself from buying Samsung ks8000 just cause of this beautiful tv ! :3
What is the input lag!?
i thought Dolby Vision couldnt be added in a update ?
mjxbox It can if the hardware already supports it.
03chrisv yes i see that now.
There IS only sony, they do the best only the best.
Perfect tv👍👍
lg b7 and c7 are way to go...!
WOW
£8000 in the UK
no one said nothing about 3d?
no 3d.. All OLEDS have dropped this feature for 2017 so if you're wanting 3d best look at the 2016 panels from LG.
Rerry1000 3D is dead.

to me the 3D fails because the glasses,...
Lol dude you can just say the Panel CAME FROM LG !!!!
Its only a matter of time before LG dominates the TV market
C815richard shame Sony has to fix the issues on the panel then.. and CLED beats OLED anyway this is just sony biding time
