This 100%. It won’t happen though sadly they are with not with a “big” known industry controlling company. With the insane amount of bangers and top tier next level MVs they have put out in just 2023 they totally deserve at least 1 reward. From Shooting Star all the way to Puppet Show.

people are trying to decipher the hidden message in the mv thinking its about how women have been treated for centuries, harvey has bloody teeth (silent women who have to abide) jurin has sharp teeth (women who fight back but get treated worse) and some have wedding head pieces to show they are only seen as baby makers, theory is unconfirmed but thats what people have been going with so far also the album is #1 in japan 😁 and #1 in US Itunes pop albums😁we wont get full global numbers until oct 4 by hanteo. Favorite song is Puppet show but people who prefer rap love X-Gene more

@@denyallow6271simplified, women getting silenced by men and only seen as objects they want the roles to switch so they can actually listen to what they have to say instead of shutting them up, they want to be just treated like equals everywhere. also many aren't hating it I've seen every reaction, been to every reddit where XG could show up (main being kpop reddit), checked Twitter posts to see the quote tweets and it's all 95% positive, even people who aren't Alphaz are ganging up on haters who are throwing women hating comments and making them feel dumb for thinking the song is about hating men

XGALX always provides us with subtitles in various languages, and among them, I have the impression that the Japanese translation expresses the true meaning of the song. The English lyrics of this song depict a strong female figure who manipulates men as she wishes (so-called feminism), but the Japanese translation does not include the word "man" or "he" at all. The true meaning of this song is not limited to men and women.
XG has been discriminated against by some in Korea because all of its members are Japanese, and although XGALX and XG have expressed their respect for K-pop, there are so many antis who do not want to listen to what they have to say. This song is a response to the antis.

I look at the album like this a prelude, a intro and 4 songs. And in the intro X-Gene they mention beta test. And that is what this album is with all the different sounds and genres they gave us.
Puppet Show is definitely my favorite from the album. I thought it would be New Dance since I've always loved Summer bops, but this song is just different bro.

Absolute Banger!
I love this MV and how cryptic it is! Probably watched it more than a dozen times already picking up observations hahaha. I posted on the XGALX subreddit about my take, sharing my interpretation here!
• Creature that exploded into blue smoke - The ones who dared to stand out and make the leap first before XG but didn't make it. They maybe served as inspiration for others to make the leap and risk too. They didn't make it probably cause they did it alone, or went ahead of themselves.
• Creature holding the sphere - The ones who care for, or are protective of XG. Who are careful of them getting hurt from taking the risk. I think it makes sense with the interaction with Juria and Hinata being protective, and with Chisa and Juria as they seem to gesture like asking permission or comforting it.
• The background creatures - they are ordinary people or performers of the average type. Not necessarily bad, but they don't stand out and just go with the majority crowd. The visual metaphor is that they are blown away by the explosiveness and talents of XG. And once they witness XG they can't help but be caught in awe and at the end bow down and recognize that they are great and are the ones who can make the leap to the top
Overall, they are 3 examples of what XG was able to distinguish themselves from and overcome to reach the top of the other side: they are unique and explosive, they know how to take risks but do it together, they are willing to let go of their comfort zones.
I think it makes sense and is really appropriate for the values of XG!

I’m going to give a quick rundown of the story behind the music video for anyone interested:
- The XG girls are lowered individually into Buddhist Hell by the thread of a spider (the scene with Chisa represents this). The figures you see in the very beginning are wearing traditional Buddhist headdresses. They are surrounded by spirits who are caught in a cycle of reincarnation that never ends.
(In Buddhism the “spider’s thread” is a reference to how Buddha took the thread of a spider in Heaven and lowered it down to Hell so that a criminal can climb up from Hell to Paradise. Therefore the thread of a spider is a symbol of slight hope aka a silver lining and of fragility. In the story it’s stated that the thread descended through “many layers of sky and clouds.”)
- The XG girls look on sadly as many spirits attempt to reach Paradise and fail, exploding into nothingness (Maya looking down from her perch represents this.)
- Even though the XG girls are hailed as goddesses by the other spirits (represented by the way the other spirits bow to them) they realize they still can’t reach Paradise alone aka achieve enlightenment.
- This changes when the XG girls find each other in death, realizing that their meeting was fate in order for them to reach Paradise together (they are tied together by the “red string of fate” and “hesonoo” is Japanese for umbilical chord.) This is represented four times in the video and twice in the chorus of the song; When Juria is running to help a spirit and meets Hinata there’s a close up of her eye where we see her having a vision of an explosion, when Harvey (who has black teeth which in Japan is a common practice amongst women because it represents a “woman with virtues”) meets Jurin, when the XG girls rap/dance together as a group with the drums, and when a wayward spirit’s failure to achieve enlightenment causes an explosion which knocks everyone down leaving only XG standing strong. There’s also a ton of fourth wall breaks showing that they’ve broken away from the circle the spirits are stuck walking in. They know the Truth aka achieved enlightenment and know you’re watching basically. Also, it is only in the later two choruses the girls adlib together. The first chorus, when they haven’t met in the video yet, has none.
- Before XG goes, they bless one of the spirits who is heavily implied to be pregnant with the XG girls as seen in the teaser for Hesono-o (the moon is associated with womanhood, XG fans are ALPHAZ aka wolves, the cover art for their album is reminiscent of cell division, etc) who have earned the right to be reincarnated.
- The XG girls take a literal leap of faith together and successfully reach Paradise!
The music video is tied to XG’s themes of female empowerment-women have two “x” chromosomes, the girls are “extraordinary,” they have the “x-factor,” are portrayed in the MV for GVRL GVNG as mutants like the X(Wo)men, they represent a better future for women in a patriarchal society and stand for the next generation of children (children birthed by women who have “new DNA”) hence the futurism stuff. I hope this helps anyone!

As far as I know I may be reading into the lyrics too much and misinterpreting the song. I can see them using this song to show they won’t conform to the industry or men. Me as a man I hate men who want women to conform to them and their lifestyle of living but I do think there should be boundaries to what the woman can and can’t do in that relationship and the industry just isn’t fair to women or men but more so for women!
