Bonzer Post! Thanks! A couple of days ago I was in the hall, now seeming so small, that was once the Ballroom, University of Newcastle. Back in ’68, it was used for Saturday night student gigs. The Nice were so LOUD! Ears ringing next morning! In those days all music had to cease at 23:00. The Nice were going flat-out into the climax of “America” when, at 23:00, the janitor switched off the electrical supply to the stage! KE was not at all pleased! His ego must have been on a separate supply.
So this is why I like this. I've been listening to Emerson Lake & Palmer too and never thought of this band because it's the only music I know from The Nice
One of the most ridiculous renditions I've ever heard. Love the jamming of the knives followed by throwing them at a board. I must admit though, the wall's around me are actually melting. LOL!
