i have astra h 1.7 cdti diesel i wanted to put this ramair filter on to.replace the standard 1 is this possible without problems ? will i need any xtra parts like pipes etc ? i only want it for the noise will this affect my performance as my cars slow as it is lol any answers would be appreciated.
Best mod on the vvt is to de restrict the air box, fit panel filter in, and vxr genuine intake pipe from front panel to air box. looks completely factory. its sounds good and makes car drive lots better.

+Ryan Hanna In all likelihood nothing, in fact the factory airbox generally does better. 1/2hp better that is.
If anyone if contemplating this mod .... get a heat shield sorted out . You'll notice the exact moment your engine starts gulping hot air... not good

very little, its all about the sound.
All that is doing is sucking in hot air and will make your car go slower, might sound better, but hot air no good.
