Olly's motivations don't stem from "too many Toads", but from resenting his creator, who "scribbled on his paper. And if you think that sounds stupid, read "scarred/defiled my body" instead.

@@OrionAltHist Literally none of those points prove anything. 1) The boss battles in later Paper Mario games require strategy and some bosses in Paper Jam could be cheesed easily. 2) All Mario and Luigi games have XP and Color Splash had an XP system. 3) The writing in the later games is actually better than first two.

Paper Jam is closer to the actual games due to the whole XP system, the action commands being more than just pressing A (yes, i know the jump and hammer attacks are basically pressing A, but think about the Bros. and Trio. attacks) 3. the story thing only applies to Origami King in my opinion, and it’s only better than Paper Mario 64’s story. 4. the “no strategy” part of bossfights in modern Paper Mario were Things in Color Splash and Sticker Star. Origami King does have strategy, but it drastically changes the battle system for the bossfights anyway. in Paper Jam, the bosses are more traditional. 5. yes, all Mario and Luigi games have XP. we were specifically talking about how it’s closer to OG paper mario and one of the reasons was the fact that Mario and Luigi games have XP.

I'll go ahead and share my specs below if you're curious: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-Core 3.79 GHz RAM: 32.0GB Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 4TB of SSD Storage, and 12TB as a backup HDD I do not recommend getting what I have lol, I'm not sure what you're looking for but if you can find a PC for around 1K, that's probably pretty solid. Anything under that and they start to get kind of cheap.

Actually the reason king Olly is trying to take over the mushroom kingdom is because he believes that he was made without love and he was scribbled on by his maker which was a toad. Instead of just hunting down the origami crafter he lets all of his anger out on all the toads.
This game teases us using theM&L games. The intro at peach’s castle says it all, it has Luigi falling Mario and it controls nearly identically to the M&L series, with the small exception the Luigi doesn’t jump with B.
I love Paper Mario Origami King. The reason why is because this game has fun puzzles to do in the game. Also I have never played the previous games in the series because I don’t have the systems to play them on. So paper Mario Origami King is a newcomer for me.

A couple things: 4:42 Confetti doesn't run out unless you throw it on a hole 5:48 the reason King Olly is doing all of this is because his creator (who's also a Toad) scribbled on him, guess you weren't paying attention to the dialogue idk
I really enjoyed origami king, despite the creators trying to give character to office supplies. Something which really bothers me is: I played it during the lockdown in the uk, so I couldn't show anyone how beautiful the game looks. By the time lockdown eased, I had got to the final battle. Completed it so I could show the different locations Mario visits and it just ends and I would have to play it all over again to show the different areas. Lockdown is starting again so I can't. They should allow people to travel back and forth through the game once finished, like you can during it.
You kind of actually can travel around after the boss fight. It is just that after you do finish the fight, the game ends and you have to go back into the game. Once you get back into the game, it starts at your last save file that was before the last boss battle. There should be a pipe near that save block, that leads to the out side of the castle, and another pipe that leads back to toad town.

Something which really bothers me is: I played it during the lockdown in the uk, so I couldn't show anyone how beautiful the game looks. By the time lockdown eased, I had got to the final battle. Completed it so I could show the different locations Mario visits and it just ends and I would have to play it all over again to show the different areas. Lockdown is starting again so I can't. They should allow people to travel back and forth through the game once finished, like you can during it.
You kind of actually can travel around after the boss fight. It is just that after you do finish the fight, the game ends and you have to go back into the game. Once you get back into the game, it starts at your last save file that was before the last boss battle. There should be a pipe near that save block, that leads to the out side of the castle, and another pipe that leads back to toad town.

Confetti doesn't actually get consumed if you throw it around randomly, so as long as it doesn't hit a pit, you can throw it around endlessly!
