another tip to tell if a fish is fresh is to press the flesh in if it springs back quickly its fresh if it stays in its old, this works on most but not all fish

Good video Andy as always it’s great to see you catching Barra I’ve been fishing for quite a bit of time now and I’ve caught a huge variety but I’m still waiting for my first Barra. And also I can’t remember exactly but when you talk about when It comes to buying fish even if there eyes are white there’s away around it to make it look normal as my grandfather was a commercial fisherman for many years and knows a lot of stuff.

Hey Andy been a follower for a while now. Had an idea that might get you a few more followers and subscribers. I know you use tackle club but how about you ask the people what lures they never catch fish on. Get them to send them to you and use them drop there name and see what you can catch on lures people think fish don’t like to eat.
Andy do you have a PO Box where I can send you a lure to challenge you to get bit on the ocean you fish…..?………it would be interesting since it’s a lure you never used before.

As fisherman we need to send a message to manufacturers to get rid of all that plastic packaging...its not needed. Really its in that moment when you view or buy it that it matters to the marketers or producers, not to the purchaser. Lets take a stand against useless packaging that ends up as pollution that ends up wrecking the environment and ultimately our fishing. Personally I'm sick of picking up other peoples shit when I go for a fish!
Just curious how can you be sure not to target a species seeing as you can't always see what you are catching. Are you not allowed to fish in certain spots or use certain lures?
Good question! It's not easy to give an exact answer. You can never be sure, but you are not permitted to target Barra out of season. You can still fish for other creek species though.

Do you mean the Lazy mullet? I thin it's too heavy, hooks are too small and the tail fin covers the rear hook way too much.
