Listen, I've never worked at or for Disney but as someone who has to deal with people acting like the rules don't apply to them, every single day? No. You can propose on main street like everyone else. If they didn't want their proposal ruined they shouldn't have been stupid.
There is a literal spot DESIGNED IN CEMENT for proposals with the castle in the back. The stage was them being extra. Plus they conveniently left out the part where they HAD asked, were told NO, did it anyway, and the dude who had told
Them ran up.
@InsaneLaughter01 this!
THANK YOU!
Yeah, there are spots specifically designed for proposals, that stage was clearly off limits, it serves them right
So glad there's so many people on the Disney employee's side. Sure that area looked low risk for them to be in if it was off limits but if people just start going anywhere off limits it can cause a huge issue. I remember when at the six flags near me, some guy lost his hat near a ride. The park employees said they'd stop the roller coaster and retrieve the hat for him. He saw where it was and jumped the fence to get it for himself, right as a rollercoaster came. He was internally decapitated and the person whose foot hit his head broke their foot terribly. Rules like that are there for a reason.
I remember this story. She had like two years worth of surgeries on her foot/leg.
This happens occasionally. The first incident was on the Top Gun coaster in Santa Clara but several other incidents of similar nature have occurred over the years. You’d think they’d have better safety measures in place but people will find a way to
Toni, do you know how many people try to propose at Disney A DAY?
And you're saying to let it slide for each one (gotta be all equality, right)?
Yeah, no. You have rules for a reason. If you want a spectacular Disney castle backdrop to your proposal, you pay up for that right with exclusivity.
As someone who has worked in a theme park, you CANNOT turn a blind eye because he’s proposing and posting it on ig … they’re not more special than others and if I allow them to break a rule, than I have to allow everyone to break said rule
Amen. I've never worked at a theme park, but I've worked food and beverage for 16 years. The teacher rule counts, if you let one do it, you have to let everyone and then it's chaos.
Not working in a theme part but working as a Bouncer and I couldn't agree more. If you make one little expectation for one person you will never hear the end of it. For at least 6 month ppl will talk my ear of how "but my friend was allowed bla bla"
What kind of autistic are you? Sometimes there can be exceptions, like when you failed to notice them getting up there to begin with.
Not worked themepark, but have worked fastfood and retail, and the same rules have to apply to everyone, because if one person breaks them and it's allowed, everyone will break them thinking it's ok.
You give an inch and they take a mile
Some of these people....Who is letting them on the rides with food, phones, not taking their loose shoes off?! Are we trying to create another Final Destination?!
That was my thought…every ride I’ve been on they take those things off you or tell you to come back later
@@TheSamjane4That’s been my experience too. The county fair where I grew up wouldn’t let you ride unless you left phones, bags, food, and unsafe shoes in an area to be picked up once you got off the ride.
Exactly I’m confused too, why r they allowed phones & food on ride?!?? Why strapless shoes? What are these safety measures?
@@macygates8397 did you really think they gonna do a full on security check like some sort of airport? 😂 i bet these idiots hide their phones and lie about it just to get that shitty tiktok video of theirs, the employees arent paid well enough to check every single person for a full on body search... it already takes forever to get on those shitty rides, it would take days to get on if they had to go full on scan mode, its the people using the ride who should have a brain and not endanger others lives, like it should be just common sense to not do those dangerous things on a ride... want it to be filmed ask a friend to film you from ground or something enjoy the moment get off your phone if you in a themepark or else just go stay home
@@zekrom6537 ah you got a point i didn’t really think about that typing the comment 😅
The Disney one, the area where they were standing was posted as off limits and they ignored the signs to "get the shot". They broke the park rules. I have no sympathy. I'm frankly tired of people breaking rules for social media exposure.
And NOBODY should be allowed on a rollercoaster if they have loose items or clothing that isn't secured. I've been hit by flying sunglasses and baseball hats, and that was bad enough. The sunglasses gave me a concussion. I don't need an iPhone or a Birkenstock wedged into my skull. People have been maimed.
sunglasses at velocity to the face, that sounds HORRIBLE!
Honestly I bet he deals with that so often, I can't say I blame him
The dude grabbed the ring. If someone grabbed an engagement ring off me…well let’s just say I’d be banned from Disney for life but they’d be off to the hospital.
Did u guys see the one where the guy had diarrhea all over the other riders
I think if you failed to catch the people entering the restricted area, give them a minute more, everybody loves a proposal. Sometimes the rules can be bent just a little bit when they’re already in the moment… Geez, we have a lot of rule sticklers here, what kind of autistic are you guys?
The amount of ppl on the Disney employee’s side is amazing 😂 ngl I agree the fence is there for a reason propose somewhere else 😂😂😂

3:52 no... if park staff let one person do it then everyone gets to do it... and then you have a 6 hour line of people waiting to propose to people in that spot. I'm on the park attendants side
Same, like okay cool, you want to propose. Don't do it in a way that makes employee's job that much harder...
What's wrong with proposing on that spot?
@@UnChannelDuVulpineX I believe they're on the wrong side of the barrier

The person spinning around on the second to last one... that ride is at the Mall of America in the US, and there's this sort of challenge to see how many times you can spin around during the duration of the ride. They're 100% doing it on purpose, so don't worry! Must people usually only wobble back and forth, but you can tell with how they rock it at the beginning that they knows what they're doing! 😄
I certainly to say same hes /she's been online before. There is one person who goes every day.

I'm IN LOVE with the Disney man for ruining their moment... FOLLOW THE FUCKING RULES!!!!!
Yeah genuinely as someone that works in customer service, one idiot posting them doing the wrong thing online quickly becomes every single moron doing it. Right now we have people destroying thousands of dollars of baby items to find $10 people are leaving for parents. Gotta be on the Disney workers side.

I’m on the disney workers side. You let one person do it then every single day there will be tons of people doing it. Gotta put your foot down from the start to prevent it from becoming an issue. Also knowing Disney that guys job is more than likely purely to stop people from trespassing in that spot for that exact reason lol
I think Disney is a weird place to propose anyway LOL people need to be more inventive with their proposals
And the amount of people that get proposed to on a daily basis in front of a Cinderella’s castle… I can only imagine the absolute chaos that would ensue!
This^^^ I assure you this guy sees a couple like this every week.
@@niebieskaherbata3856 probably several times daily with the amount of Disney adults around nowadays. 😂
Break it up maybe, but don't grab that man's private property of an engagement ring out of his hands. That employee is asking to get knocked the f*** out by doing that. If you're not a law authority, you don't ever grab somebody's private property out of their hands. Our parents taught us this going up simple phrase of if it's not yours don't touch it.
Nah disney bro was just doing his job. People just feel way too entitled
but he was doing his job late. let them finish and escort them out of the restricted area. but if they have already started, don't interrupt them. And don't steal their ring. The dude wanted to be the main character so badly. IF you still consider they should've been interrupted, then there were 1000 more civilized ways of doing it and not stealing the ring and passing between them.

1000% this. I wouldn't be shocked if there were snipers on standby with the way Disney handles their shit
From what I've heard about working for Disney, I wouldn't be surprised if that guy's been fired for not ruining their moment fast enough
So then he ruined it for nothing. He already failed and could have waited 10 more seconds
If that’s true, he should sue them for unemployment and possibly becoming homeless. A portion of employees live in offcial disney apartments to be 24/7 staff. Despite there already being a designated spot FOR proposals. Hope their marriage failed.
@@emmaoh4051 zero tolerance is the best policy.if you let one person break the rules then so will others. Plus they asked for permission to do the proposal in a literal OFF-LIMITS and were denied. So yeah it's on them that their proposal was ruined. They 100% deserved it
My hands were sweating the entire video. Except when Toni had a brain fart and couldn’t think of “Go Pro”. Hilarious 😂😂😂
I’m with the Disney employee on this one, why would you go to an obviously closed off area and be surprised you got escorted out? There’s plenty of places to propose in the park and they chose the one place that clearly wasn’t allowed.
Yea, but his attitude is infuriating and HE GRABBED THE RING FROM THEIR HANDS! WTF, he could have just said "exuse me, I'm afraid you can't be up here" I don't think this would have gone as viral if he hadn't acted like such a c**t
I'm sure the Disney employee felt awful about what they did but I am sure that when they were hired, they were told exactly what to do in a situation like this. They can't just let one couple get away with it while thousands if not millions of other people are told no. I'm sure if they allowed for this to happen, not only would there just be lines to get to that one spot but with people crowding an area like that, it would cause safety issues.
I 100% get that Disney employees point. Especially where it was going to be posted. I spend a ridiculous amount of time dealing with people being where they are not supposed to be because they saw someone online at that same place.
Omg the woman riding the ride alone is an INCREDIBLE stand up comic! Atsuko Okatsuka!! Check her out she’s hysterical.
Yes! I was surprised no one else commented on this (at least so far that I’ve seen)

I 💯 agree with the Disney employee. They warn you! Many times! One exception means everyone is an exception so no. Follow the rules dont mess up your own proposal
with that spinny one that was like an airplane at 11:05 there are people who try to set records for the most spins, there's one lady who's insane with it and goes super fast, you control it yourself plus I think a little gravity is involved. Sorry Toni and Ryan... But, sneaking onto a platform without railings is basically the same as throwing water on the floor and walking through it in order to get a lawsuit. The only tragedy is that Disney parks and resorts doesn't get paid enough by the Walt Disney Company to staff someone in that zone making sure nobody climbs onto the Disney cast member only stage. Did I forget to mention that there is a fence around it? Case closed sorry not sorry.

Also a portion of Disney employees actually live on the grounds in offical disney apartments to be 24/7 employees. So he could’ve been made homeless as well as unemployed. And with a megacorp like Disney, to be fired for any reason is employment death. You have to work deadend jobs forever just to get by.
I'm fully on the Disney workers side. 1. It's clearly not allowed to be there and I'm 100% sure they knew this and still did that. 2. And if they let one slide them everyone will do the same thing. 3. These people are working hard and around a lot of intiteled people, why make thier work harder?
I love your chemistry. You two seem like the absolute best of friends. You are both so funny!
I’ve still got a printed out photo of me at age 6 on a ride by myself, I loved rides so much as a kid and the park was closing for the day but because of how excited I was for all the rides every single time I went on one they let me go on a couple by myself before they turned them all off and I was so so ecstatic, the photo is just tiny me with the biggest grin on my face on a ride all alone and I cherish it hahahaha
Epic. I remember when my Pop Pop would take me to Great Adventure and they'd let me do the same thing. Thanks for the memory!
Toni and Ryan had the totally wrong reaction to the proposal situation. The employees were right. Billions of people get married, have since time began. Their proposal isn’t special to anyone but them, and they don’t get to break the rules to “have their moment.” Disappointed in T&R for knocking the employees just trying to do their jobs.
Right? Like I love watching their videos but this was just a huh moment for me. There's no turning a blind eye for a couple who's clearly in the wrong and going somewhere where they shouldn't be.
Best fail I have ever seen was when I was about 7, my dad took me to a theme park & we went on one of those spider rides. Two kids also went on the ride & one in particular was bragging about how he never gets sick & how people get sick on this ride & they are weak etc. They had to be about 8 years old & the one that was bragging must have had a milkshake recently. About 3 minutes into the ride, the fun began because my dad & I noticed that there was a yellow/creamy looking liquid oozing out of the car the two 8-year-olds were in. The kid that was bragging was non-stop vomiting all over his friend who was screaming blood murder for the ride to stop. Also, because the cars spin, the liquid was also spraying the crowd surrounding the ride cause people to scream & flee. The car my dad & I were in was in a position that we were not affected by the spray. My dad & I have never laughed so hard in our lives.
I will never understand this need of people to tell their own slightly-related-to-the-topic-of-the-video stories nobody asked for. I guess it's always people with the main character syndrome.
Thanks for this entertaining and very on-topic story. Even if it wasn’t on topic, it wouldn’t be doing any harm in the comment section of a random youtube video.

My favorite roller coaster story: back in the 90s, these 2 radio hosts for a Catholic station went to six flags to do a live recording of the newest insane coaster. One of the guys went on with a phone strapped to him to live record his experience (remember, 90s). The guy on the ground was trying to ask questions, but the one on the coaster couldn’t stop screaming. At the end of the ride, he was so scared and forgot he was live. His buddy asked him how it was, and the only response that was given was, ‘sweet mother of God, there was piss all over the rails!’ 😂😂😂
Imagine thinking youre such a main character that you feel the need to propose at Disney
nah, screw the people at disney. I'm glad their proposal was ruined. I'm exhausted by people who think the world revolves around them
I am also on the Disney worker's side. They're not supposed to be there, but they're entitled enough to still push it, and then get mad when everyone doesn't bend to their plans. Guess what? You and a hundred other people got engaged in front of that castle in the last 20 minutes. It's not special. Typical and played out. *And* you broke rules to do it, with no care as to why those rules exist. Too bad.
Those catapult videos amaze me because without fail there is one person laughing hysterically and the other one is repeatedly fainting
Omg I’m laughing so hard right know because something so embarrassing happened 🤣. A second before the guy on the rollercoaster went “someone farted” I happened to just let one go. The timing was so perfect that for a second I was literally wondering “wth how did they hear me” before the logic centre of my brain finally kicked in. The look on my face was priceless 😆
7:10 the running bear is EVERYTHING!! 😍😂
That second to last one, it looked like they could control their own spin by moving the levers on either side of them to change the angle of the "wings". I'd imagine depending on which way you turn them, the motor inside it will rotate you faster or slower. Buddy probably locked adjusted his own by accident and had no idea how to level them out, so he just ended up spinning the entire time.
We have a version of the plane ride in the uk called ‘The Red Arrow Ride’. You control the wings so you can go upside down if you want, don’t touch them if you don’t want to spin😂. Love you guys x
I don’t care about the people proposing, not only because they were wrong but also because that was hilarious
I was saving this for after my shift. It's exactly what I needed. But also a reminder why I don't go on roller coasters or to theme parks 😹

I've been in a similar ride to the airplane one. You do control the flaps, thus control spin. In theory. The ride I was on was old, the control mechanisms rusty, and my seat belt unable to tighten to properly fit me.

I was once the guy spinning like a propeller on a plane on a ride before, but it was called the Rock-O-Plane. My friend and I got on and left my sister and cousin on the side. The Disney proposal…I sort of agree with you. But on the other hand it will stop a bunch of other people from trying to do same thing. Doing it in front of castle at bottom of step where employee told them would still give them a great picture is actually true and not breaking any rules. The only thing I think the employee really did wrong was grab the ring out of that guy’s hands. It’s personally property and was likely very expensive. So the ride at around 10:55 is called the shell shocker located in Bloomington MN in America. You sit in the seat and use the wings and your body weight to spin. The person spinning a lot has the best seat on the ride. (I used to work there and operated this ride) really fun would recommend

You can't propose in undesignated areas. There's a spot for it. They can't expect Disney to put on a spectacle for them, there are thousands of people in the park.
The Disney employee was in the right, the fence was there for a reason. Can you imagine the number of people jumping fences and going where they weren’t supposed to because they thought Disney might turn a blind eye.

@4:23 the only thing I can say is Walt is always watching. All it takes is 1 narc nearby and some cameras for someone to lose their job. It doesn't make it right from the POV of a bystander, I also wish they would've waited 10 seconds, but we have no idea what kind of a position they are in and I (the internet) have been told from multiple sources that working for Disney is extremely strict and even awful. 11:00 I’ve seen this person before, and she LOVES the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Ride, goes on it several times back to back and stims like hell. It makes me so happy everytime I see her!
60 million people visit Disney World (Florida) every year. 18-20 million visit Disneyland (California). 0 people visit Disney Quest, but that's a separate issue.
How many "blind eyes" do you think that employee should turn? How many times will the big mouse upstairs call him into the office and write him up for not keeping the stage secure? Every tell-all book and documentary about the parks detail the employees being mandated to stay superficial and avoiding. If a kid hugs a character, they should not hug back. If someone is crying or throwing a fit, employees should not be seen interacting with them and only security should get involved. No park employee should be involved in guest pranks, proposals, gender reveals or other unusual social events, primarily in case they immediately or later fail as any lawsuit/divorce/bad media could negatively affect the park's reputation as the happiest place on earth where all your dreams come true and have no consequences.
