Hyperia tested for barely any time at all before opening and the area looked completely unfinished the night before. Obviously, the ride had tested enough to pass safety, I just mean they hadn't had a chance to wear it in operationally. Voltron was testing like 2 months with people on before they put it into proper operation. I think this was yet again a result of Thorpe Park's approach to planning.

100% agreed. Everything is always rushed and then the result is this. Soft openings are also a way to refine operations, spot issues, train the staff, improve details... but the most improtant thing is being respectful to paying guests
