Hoping Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and England all qualify for this one honestly, would be nice to see the whole of the UK represented at a World Cup.
I really do dislike the fact they are adding more teams into the cup it will weaken the quality of games and takes value away from qualifying for it in the first place
I personally don't like this new format because it adds way too much to the competition. Also, with UEFA increasing the UCL number of teams and some federations adding more matches to the season, in 2026 we may see players appearing in more than 100 matches during the year, which may cause the side effect of decreasing the longevity of players on football. 32 teams was perfect
Sorry to say,, but FIFA have ruined the World Cup now. 48 is far too many teams, there will be 104 matches, an increase of 62% It's crazy. Plus, we'll have lots of boring group games as 8 third placed teams will go through. The old system of eight groups of 4, top two qualify worked perfectly. The 2022 tournament (in football terms) was brilliant- drama and jeopardy in group stage, shock results, some big games and a great final. FIFA cares only about money. More, in terms of the World Cup, is definitely less.
Hello there, nice vid! Calling it joint world cup is being generous considering mexico gets like 3 or 4 games in total, as a Mexican I would hope to have a relative easy group and a relative easy seeding for the next rounds so we can finally get past the 5th match, that's actually a thing here in Mexico, el quinto partido we call it because we never get past the 4th game in any world cup, worse yet we never not qualify for the next round until last world cup where thanks to tata Martino that was a thing, we left after 3 matches after idk how many world cups of qualifying to the next round
I have supported Mexico since WC 1998, so I know about the quinto partido curse :( As there is an extra round now, surely Mexico can get through and win in at least one knock-out game. I am concerned about the current team though, not a huge number of talented players like normal, apart from Gimenez and Chucky. Good luck!
Wasn’t expecting a video on this right now but absolutely loved it mate! Keep up the great content👍
Glad you enjoyed! As a Welshman, I am already looking to the next thing. Can't get excited about the Euros :(((
@@WelshASMR82Football 😭😭
I might be able to go to this world cup, providing I can get my college course finished early

everyone of them must not qualify for the group stage, Amen🛐
Fuck no
Half of world will qualify. You have big chances
No chance Northern Ireland will lol
None of them will beat North Korea. They win every single year no matter what
Great video Welsh!

Great video!! Wales will forsure make this one with the new format! (Hopefully)

Would you by any chance be looking forward to this instead of the euro’s because a certain team in red aren’t there 😂😂 great video as always
Um, totally, yes! :D Dreaming of the next chance.......

I do appreciate that, but then how will teams improve without the chance? You can have more shocks in this format too. I quite like it 🙂
@@WelshASMR82FootballPlaying in world cup should be a reward for a hard work on qualifies
Once all the teams have been decided, it would be cool to get a video on the new Club World Cup format
Oh deffo!

There are talks of player strikes coming for playing too many matches a year!
You should do a video on the new champions league and Europa league formant starting next year . Would be interesting
When is the ucl format video out
Can you do a video on the new ucl format?
Yes, hopefully this week or next
Hey Welsh, could you make a video about your predictions for Copa America?

I love the change because now Finland has a chance to get in to the world cup
Exactly! Sides like Finland, Albania, Czechia can make it to the WC in this new format :D
It's embarrassing how Europe got the least new spots (if you look percentages) and UEFA didnt say a thing
18:25 oh no you didn’t….. saying Switzerland instead of Sweden lol
Oh really?? lolol
