I thought that Tom Hardy was brilliant. Any other actor would have played Max like a Marvel movie hero and I really believed he was A sad and quiet soul who had lost his wife, child and dog.
George Miller's style of cinematography: everything centered in frame, and I'm here for it. Action like this needs to be front, center and in your face! I know what you mean, Mark. The image looked a bit too clean, even the dirt looked clean. They need some of the dirt and dust to hit the lens.
Looks over cgi as the sky and background environment looks so fake as if there standing behind a projector wall theatre It's like watching a 3d film on a 2d tv just looks odd as it reminds me of a pc game made using the unreal engine 5 but with real actors in it pulls me out of the film as it just looks fake with no real location. I think the first new mad max film was shot on location where this looks like a cgi background projecting the sky to me thats what makes film's a big flop as i wont watch them and this is just another one of those films look nice but looks so fake at the same time. Unless the cgi haven't been finished yet but i nave been seeing some youtube vids saying it might be delayed for 2025 but i cant see that when we have just got this trailer for 2024 release
Only watched the original film with Mel Gibson and Thunder dome and halfway through of fury road but the orignal older films are outdated and in effect compared to what we're getting today but still i expected better from a cgi focus film that stands out like a saw thumb for a movie made today on a big budget level film.
I love the Mad Max universe so i will watch it, and it got Anya Taylor Joy in it she is so my celebcrush, but why does Chris Hemsworth wear a red cape, Thor all over again and i agree that the trailer looks so-so.
CGI generated cars and car stunts in a Mad Max movie is sacrilegious. In the previous Fury Road movie they kept the CGI exclusively for the landscape and sand storms but all the car stunts were genuine as should be. Moreover it looks awful, and so does the make up on Chris Hemsworth. Oh George Miller… how the mighty have fallen.
I second this. The VFX is used much more this time. It feels like 80% of the cars from this trailer are digital, and it's probably more. I don't really have a problem with it unless it looks real. I already prefer watching the original Mad Max because of its stunts than this one. I hope they upgrade them before the release. Chris Hemsworth's appearance almost made me cringe. It felt like a comedy film. Somehow it feels like a fan fic. I'm sorry. And the last thing... Junkie XL, or Tom Holkenborg, the guy behind the music used a lot of temp music in Fury Road... "Brothers in Arms" is a great song but it sounds too much like another one. This time... Well... All I'll say is: The Dark Knight Rises... Come on, Warner, a well known song from a big franchise from your own company used as temp? Try harder. I'm kinda disappointed... I love Mad Max. This simply feels wrong.
@@elhassaneel8505and I think the production hell was even worse this time around. They spent way more on this movie as well. There could be more practical than before but just going bigger which requires more CG. Still looks better than marvel lol

Junkie XL is doing the score again!
Very excited for this.
This movie is gonna be George Miller's Magnum Opus!!! It looks so fantastic, a masterpiece!!!
Magnum Opus*
@@ObiesieMaduegbuna My bad, thanks for correcting!!!
Fury Road isn’t the original Mad Max film - there are a trilogy of films starting Mel Gibson released in 1979, 1981 and 1985.
Yes.....he knows that.
Cant wait for this. Loved Fury Road

300 is a Zach Snyder movie.
Snyder and Miller have VERY specific styles.
Which is precisely my point - and why it is disappointing … this trailer doesn’t look as original and authentic as Fury Road …
Ill be real this looks like a damn spy kids movie the effects are woeful especially compared to fury road

Have you seen any of the other 4 movies ...?

Also have a great weekend sunshine 🤩👋♥️👍🏻
Morning mark sweetie ☕️👋☕️👋☕️♥️
Anya Taylor joy’s “Furiosa” is the prequel aka younger version of Charlize Theron’s Furiosa” in Mad Max: Fury Road.
Good video 👍✌💯

Im pleased you sensed this - because it felt really artificial to me too ;-(

Far far too much CGI..........get back to practical and shoot on film or go home.
